We had a fabulous birthday dinner during the Broadmoor Labor Day weekend extravaganza. Food, drinks, and service were excellent!
The service was sub-par. Very inattentive and slow. The wedge salad was good. The steak was over priced and very tough. It was probably average for resort food, but less than we would expect from one the caliber of The Broadmoor.

Best restaurant in the Broadmoor imo. Unique menu and enjoyed the atmosphere in the outside seating area by the gold course. Great service. Had jerk wings and burger which was good.

Our experience was great, very knowledgeable, friendly waiter! We filled up on wine and bread so the primi platti was enough! We had the Cresta De Gallo Alla Bolognese and the Red Shrimp Spaghettoni. I slurped up every bit of the Spaghettoni sauce with the last bit of bread on the table. Only complaint is that the pistachio cannoli wasn't that great. Did enjoy the lemon blueberry cassata.
We had a mixed experience with Ristorante Del Lago. On the positive side, it is in a beautiful setting on the lake at The Broadmoor, the overall pricing is reasonable, some of our dishes were tasty, and our server, Megan, was excellent . On the negative side, our seating experience was somewhat frustrating and one of our main dishes was not to our taste. Del Lago is very popular, especially with families staying at The Broadmoor, but we were disappointed by our experience in being welcomed at reception and getting a table. In regard to the food, we had a very tasty campanelli carbonara with smoked guanciale and a nice burrata salad. My Roman meatballs, tomato sauce, smoked ricotta and buckwheat polenta dish , however, was very disappointing - too much raw garlic in the meatballs and not much tomato sauce.
We went to dinner for our 44th wedding anniversary. The entire evening was perfect. The food was beyond excellent, and the restaurant provided complimentary desserts in honor of the event. The best!
Service was forced, stiff and not attentive. We saw manager having to pick up the slack Everywhere!!! Fish was disappointing lots of bones but they did remove from bill. Bread was delicious and filet minion was perfect. Things were just not smooth. Been here before and it was perfect. Will be back hoping for better experience.

This restaurant did a lot of things right, but we felt they underperformed on a few levels. The food was good but not outstanding. The service was pleasant but quite slow and although we dined relatively early (6:30 pm), it got pretty loud by the time we finished around 8:30 pm. It was difficult to have a conversation and we were looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.
We had carbonara, rigatoni, cheese pizza and chicken verde. All four of us ate what was served to us. Olive Garden would have been much better. Each meal was around $45 no drink, starters or dessert included. Automatic 20% tip is. Great location. Service was good. Food is disappointing.
Broadmoor restaurants disappointed us. Del Lago is a nice and energetic venue (our favorite of the eateries we tried at The Broadmoor). Service was the main low point across all dining venues. Simple menu or wine questions were met with quizzical stares and "I'll go ask". The food was not bad, but really, we expected better from the Broadmoor, especially at the price points. Be aware: All food purchases have an automatic 20% gratuity (Which is the average we tip, anyway)..... But this "known" amount for servers, we think contributed to their lackluster performances.

We had our family w us. 8 of us. We had a great table in a corner by a window. It was nice & quiet vs bar area. Server was excellent. Nice experience. Thanks
Great service and a wonderful menu with a few daily specials Second or third visit and will certainly go back when in the Colorado Springs area

Wonderful as always. Not a lot to say when the restaurant meets all high expectations. Best Italian restaurant around
Wonderful experience. Elevated food and service without the pretentiousness one would get from any other restaurant offering the same equity food and service. We opted for the Chefs Choice which included a 4 course meal (starter, pasta, entree, dessert) and added the Sommelier option, where the in-house Sommelier selected and presented the wine pairings. We were so full, they let us take our desserts to go. We thank you Winston and Brian and everyone at Ristorante Del Lago
