The front of the house was great, super friendly and welcoming.
The food was the issue. I paid almost $16 for 2 pieces of fish, very over cooked and completely flavorless
The fries were chewy, not crisp or undercooked, just chewy which was weird

I really wanted to like this place but it didn't cut it! We weren't acknowledge for a little bit but finally the waitress came - very friendly! Took our drink order as well as our menu order. Drinks were served in a timely manner. Then the wait started . . . I should have clocked it but realized that too late. We watched several leave and new folks come in. Still waiting. When we saw others who had arrived and submitted their orders being served and we were still waiting, we inquired about our order. The gal NEVER came back with a reply!! It was probably 8-10 minutes more before we were served. The food was okay - nothing outstanding. The fruit was not ripe which was unpleasant. We finished up, stacked our plates and again waited for our ticket. After considerable time, we again asked one of the waitresses to bring us our ticket. Again, no response!! We were never offered a warm up for our coffee. Just a very disappointing experience!!

Food was terrible. Green chili was so watery it tasted like beef broth. The apple crisp was burnt. The French dip was served on a hot dog bun and the aus jus was so salty I needed a water pill after one bite. Wanted to like this place so bad!! Unfortunately we won't be back.
The food was ok and the waitress could have been friendlier. I will say that they have THE BEST cheese curds I've ever eaten. I will go back and update my review then if anything is different.

The local table is a good option right in the neighborhood. The menu is not particularly creative but does execute simple meals well enough for a lunch or evening out.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or dips to get into the building, which is helpful. Plenty of handicapped parking right in front

Every time I've been in there the waitress. Sometimes will take our order pretty quickly. Most of the time more times than not. She asks me when she takes my drink order if I'm ready to order my food. The hostess would make a great server. She's the only one that ever refills my water and is the one that brings my food most of the time...... If that service happens again, I'm done tipping your waitress. There is no reason that I should see my hostess. Most of the time at my table and rarely ever see my waitress. At my table, I will see her play on her phone more than she ever comes to my table.

Stopped here for brunch with a friend after a round of disc golf at nearby Widefield Community Park. Seated on the patio which has umbrellas for sun cover however the traffic noise is rather annoying. My suggestion would be to install a wall to block both the sight and sounds from the endlessly loud diesel trucks & motorcycles that go by on Fontaine. Waitstaff was prompt and friendly and well behaved dogs are welcome on the patio. We had the reuben and the omelet with shaved beef smoked under glass. Both came with your choice of sides. My sandwich was prepared with fresh roasted, pulled corned beef and was very nice and the cole slaw was wonderful with larger chunks of cabbage and just the right amount of dressing. My friend said her omelet was wonderful as well; but since I do not eat eggs I declined trying it. ? very nice place for some mimosas or bloodys on a weekend morning.

We really wanted to like this place because it isn't a franchise and a locally owned business. We have visited on 3 separate occasions, trying dinner and brunch on the weekend. Food was mediocre, and service is lacking. All of the salad dressings are made in house which sounds great, however the thousand island isn't thousand island. It's so far from what thousand island that it's something completely different. Maybe call it by a different name? My eggs on my Benedict were overcooked when we visited during brunch. Bummed

Eat here. I will be coming here regularly and often. The food is super fresh and tasty. I got the BLT with two eggs and the green chili. Our server was chill and the prices are Gucci.

Very rude owner. Food is bland. Never seen an owner be so rude. Yelling at people is not what you do in front of people. Hands down I’ll never recommend this place. Horrible service. Food is nasty. You can get better food at Taco Bell.
Had a carry out order, was ready in a timely manner. Large portions, and the best tartar sauce I've had!
