Been going there for years, mainly to eat. The new cook, hired by the new owners, is not working out for me or my friends. The burger and fries are not good compared to the food before the new owners. Frozen fries suck, the burger has shrunk and the bun is generic at best. New owners are obviously looking to increase profit margins, fair enough, but don't cheapen the product. Make a reasonable price increase if needed but bring back the sesame seed bun, the bigger burger...
I love this bar! It’s hometown, it’s Westside, it’s good ole dive, it’s traditional bar cookin. Terry is the best lady! She’s seasoned, she is kind and communicative. 10/10 neighborhood joint with down-to-earth, know-you-your-whole-life kind of people.
