Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I go to this tropical smoothie at least one to two times a week. Most of the time they are great but more and more often lately they have been messing up my order.

I always get a chocolate and banana smoothie with pea protein, so PB Cup without the peanut butter. And it's a good thing I don't have a peanut allergy with the way they will just give me a PB Cup smoothies. Even when I confirm when ordering that it is just a chocolate and banana smoothie.

Today they once again handed me a PB Cup so I gave it back and told them again that it was supposed to be a chocolate and banana smoothie. Usually they get it right when they remake it but today when they gave me my remade smoothies it is now just chocolate and peanut butter with no banana.

Thank goodness for my Thai chicken wrap and it was delicious, because I was not wasting more time waiting for them remake and mess up my smoothie yet again. I do not understand why this seems to be so difficult for them. I think I will have to find a new smoothie place since this one is just getting worse.

There was a price discrepancy between their menu and the register when they ringed us up. It ended up increasing the price of our meal by nearly 20% and the employees did not care or act like it was a problem. The food is great but that’s a pretty big deal to us.

We order bowls from here at least twice a week. We get the Bahama Mama, the Acai and the Greek Yogurt bowls. The last two orders (4 bowls) were literally soup. These were today, Sept 13 and on Sept 10th. I don’t understand how or why they were watery when none of the other bowls were like these. They also don’t follow the customization requests. I ask for no banana and guess what I get every time. Not ordering from here again.

I thought the smoothie was ok but it has a weird soap/perfume aftertaste. It might have been the soap detergent. I don't think it was worth nearly $10 and trying to find another place that sells good smoothies.

Heyyy this place right here my man!!!! Has the best customer service and delicious food! It doesn't matter which location you go to they are both FIRE!!! I mean the chicken pesto flatbread oooooowhheeewww babyyy! And the chipotle chicken wrap!!!??? Come ON now it's just too GOOD to be true and I'm black where seasoning is my middle name and baaabbbyyyyy when I tell you every sandwich or wrap you get or even a smoothie is straight bussin okay! No cap ALLL FACTS. It's so good I have to eat the whole menu just to figure out what I don't like and I haven't found not one item I absolutely do not like. It's crazy!

Do not go through the drive through. I got a left over smoothie from a very unfriendly girl. It’s pure liquid and the texture is like water

The staff was friendly and quick. The Acai bowl was mediocre. The blended part of the bowl was clearly pre-made and frozen. Ok for a to go order but we were planning on staying to eat their. Ended up leaving because it was inedible. Flavor was odd. And still to frozen even after a trip home. I think cutting corners and pre making them really takes away the quality unfortunately. There are definitely better smoothie places.

love Tropical Smoothie’s smoothies — all the flavors are amazing. The food is overall pretty good too. We always come back for the smoothies though

I love this place. My order is always ready and it’s always hot and fresh. I’m always greeted with a welcome and a smile! This place is amazing!

I don't really like the fact that after they wash the blenders and lids with soap, they immediately put in your blend, so you get a soapy detergent flavor. I don't understand why they can't just use the dry blenders and lids with no soap water. This has happened twice so I'm not coming here again.

If you are going here, pay attention to how they are preparing your food. I would say for my conscience, I could never trust these people handling food and would much rather pay higher for a better smoothie place.

I really like this location. What's keeping me from coming back is the past eight times I've ordered, the smell from the employees perfume/lotion gets around the smoothie cups and on food containers. I've been able to sort of wash it off, but it's so strong it ruins the flavor of the food. To me, it seems like they aren't washing their hands when they put the lids on, and their perfume/lotion gets on it. I really like the menu and the service but I'll probably wait a while before coming back because my last food tasted like perfume was sprayed over the edges of the container and it ruined most of the taste. Someone else commented about the detergent smell on the food, but im pretty sure that was coming from this same issue.

I didnt get the names but the 2 young ladies working at 5pm on leap day were so sweet and made our drinks so fast and delicious. 10/10 will come
