Searched TripAdvisor for great food places and this restaurant popped up. So we visited on a Sunday evening (6:30) and the place was pretty quiet. A few couples scattered about. Lovely decor and music playing. We sat ourselves and soon waitress (who was probably also one of the chefs) took our order. It took about 10-15 minutes for her to take our order and deliver water, which is a little bit on the long side. However once our order was taken (the vegetarian combo for 2) it came out within 10minutes. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD!!! Couldn’t rate it any higher. Delicious combination of Ethiopian stews and the injera bread was delightful.Overall it was a great experience apart from the slow service. Worth the visit

The delicious smell coming from the kitchen when walking in was a great start to experiencing the amazing meal I had with my family. The woman who waited on us was so sweet and kind. The name on our receipt says Aleannda, so I hope that is her. She recommended looking on their website to learn the history and culture of their cuisine, which was so interesting to learn about. She also showed how to eat with the injera. We enjoyed a platter for 4 and had left overs to enjoy. With our lefts overs, Aleannda gave us recommendations on what we could do, especially with our left over injera. It was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to visit my family again to come back here. I will also bring other people with me to try. I whole heartedly recommend coming here and experiencing this wonderful atmosphere for yourself.

Reserved a Saturday night dinner time with my fiancée. Incredible food, and excellent service. Just a mother and daughter team; the lamb and beef tibs were delicious with the lentils, and the injera scooped everything up. The lemonade and tea were tasty and not too sweet! Looking forward to coming back again soon!Parking: Small free parking lot, else you have to use paid street parking.

I've frequented Uchenna a few times and became a regular spot for my coworkers and I. You need to make a reservation, and it's only open from 5-7, but that helps make the charm. The server welcomes you with open arms and is the sweetest lady. The Doro Wat is so flavorful and addicting. We have also split the big plates and everything was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

As a Zambian, it was really amazing to go to this restaurant that felt like home. It was beautiful. The welcoming atmosphere of the place was not only enhanced by the artwork that is presented, but also by the customer service. When the owner found out that I was African, she literally told me "welcome home".
My first time having Ethiopian... wow. Such unique flavors. We cleared the plate. Not a bad thing on the menu. The restaurant was very intimate and felt like you were in her home having dinner with them. Couldn't recommend more.
