Umi Sushi at Colorado Springs

10/10 place! Sushi is always fresh and tasty! Brad and Alexander are wonderful servers. This is my go to spot when I want yummy sushi.

There was nothing but great things to say about this neighborhood sushi spot. I just moved my mom into the area and we wanted to see if there was good sushi within walking distance. I never expected to find myself enjoying it so much that I will make it one of my regular restaurants. Good, and service were top notch. Keep up the amazing work!

If you haven't come here yet, you absolutely need too. My favorite thing is their All you can eat lunch and dinner menu. I've tried both and truly the best sushi I've had in a bit. I also really love their miso it's phenomenonal definitely check them out!!!

Staff is extremely friendly. Service is fast and the food is great. We tried the Wagyu roll and it was buttery soft. They even made our little one a couple kid friendly rolls to try for his first time 🩵 much appreciated.

It’s never too late to go somewhere else….Thats what the guy over the phone taking orders told me when I tried to order food -he had me on hold forever. Also when he got back on the phone he was not listening to any of the simple orders that I tried to make… he tried to include a main sushi entree as a bento side. Sir do know even know you’re own menu. Let’s just say his mind is elsewhere. And he then proceeded to say it’s not too late to go elsewhere. Well guess what he’s right. I went to the Mexican restaurant next door called Zapata Mexican Taco Shop and the sauces were great and food was good. Try that instead. Ciao whoever you were on April 13th at 1700ish 2026.

Update the wait was the least of my worries. It’s the response and how it was said and on your voice “hun” Like I said it’s never too late to BE BETTER…..Thanks for trying….NOT!

Tonight I ordered a miso soup and two rolls. The miso soup was too salty, and it only had 8 pieces of tofu. The salmon roll tasted fresh. The spicy tuna tasted old. This place nickles and dimes you. 3 dollars for crunch and they charged us 2 dollars extra from what's posted on the menu. Not worth the price. Your better off going to kampai off of powers.

Service was awesome again, staff extremely friendly, hardly waited at all! Food was amazing.... daughter ordered the Hawaiian roll TWICE it was so good! We will keep coming back!

The workers in this establishment are always very kind and playful with my family and I. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication to making customers feel comfortable and satisfied. The food nonetheless is wonderful as always, everytime, I leave with a smile. Nothing gets your feet kicking quite like good sushi and ramen. Their appetizers are also very tasty! 10/10 I recommend.

We went here for my Birthday. We arrived 2 hrs before closing. We ordered all you can eat which allows you 90 mins to order. We did not receive our first roll order for 1 full hour and within 10 minutes of our first order they came to our table for last call. Additionally, noone checked our table during the first hour. Once our first rolls arrived we asked for extra ginger 3 different times and they never brought it so we had to walk up to the counter and get it directly from the sushi chef. I will not return.

Today’s experience is so bad.! Sushi rice is important but the rice was too hard barely can chew. Takos were chewy as rubber bund i don’t know but happened today! Needs to be consistent

Didnt bother eating. They have a policy that if one person at the table does ayce, everyone has too. I was going to do alyce, and my wife only eats one roll she would order at the individual roll price. She does not eat much. So instead I would have to pay an additional $40 for her to eat one roll. Horrible policy

Great spot, large portions, friendly service. Great rolls and large portions on the niguri. Hunter is a great sushi chef.
