4242 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs

“Hands down one of the best distillery visits we've had! James made us feel welcome and provided us with an informative, fun and very personalized tour. Being huge fans of 291 for some time my husband and I learned new nuggets of info and love the brand and story even more now!!! We enjoyed a delicious cocktail after and appreciated the conversation with staff and even the owner himself!!! GO visit this distillery and enjoy some of the most amazing whiskey. You won't be disappointed 😁“

“I would vote six stars if I could!! This is a great find and I highly recommend a stop! The staff was fun and friendly. There is a great vibe here with eclectic decor and beautiful chandeliers. It was giving Adams family. They've got great comfortable furniture in cozy settings to accommodate either a couple on a date night or a group of friends. They have 6 fire pits out front. We got on a wait list for fire pit seating which only took about 10 minutes. They do allow cigar smoking on the patio. They had some super fun and delicious cocktails and a wonderful assorted dessert plate! My photos do not do this justice to the stunning interior. Stop in and see for yourself!!“

District Elleven Cocktail Bar • $
218 N Tejon St, Colorado Springs

“District Elleven is a total vibe—moody, modern, and tucked just off Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs. We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout—The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet—just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers—my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans—traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives—beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch—our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. Whether you’re just out for drinks or looking to graze and linger, District Elleven nails the ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.“

“***EDIT*** Gave it another try recently! Thankfully Ena(sp) was awesome as always and made us feel welcome. And the Adventure Club sandwich always is tops! Loved coming to this place for a long time and was seriously bothered by the service today. My wife and I came in today at around 4pm and the place was busy and the bartender was seriously overwelmed(in tears almost). We sat at the bar and were patiently waiting to get waited on while she ran around trying to help everyone. But we were over looked 4 times(yes we counted). We were the only two people at the bar without any drinks, and still ignored. The final straw was when she walked up to us, then said, "no not you" and moved to the couple next to us, who already had drinks and food ordered. That was unexpected. We decided to leave. Not sure if she wasn't willing to help us because I was Mexican or because we were just a couple veterans in for a drink. But hope this isn't something that's common. Needless to say I wouldn't suggest this to others like us.“
