Was in Colorado Springs visiting family, and they took me here for dinner on a Saturday evening. I suggest arriving 30 min PRIOR to when your reservation is/when you'd like to dine, as there are so many teas to puruse. Get your table number and selection paper. NO SHOES AT TABLES. Wear/bring socks!
Steps:
1 - Find a tea and take it with you to the table.
2 - Order your food with selection paper and menus that are provided.
3 - Sit and wait for ceremony.
4 - Eat and be merry!
Food was great!
Been coming here for years and always have a great experience. The dim sum is delicious and the staff are always friendly. We always bring our friends who are visiting here and they always enjoy it too. Definitely a favorite local spot.
We came here to enjoy a tea ceremony. We picked it out tea and sat down. The server made us some tea and we sat for a long while enjoying a few brews of tea. For the price, it was a great deal. This was my 2nd time here and the first time I got food as well.
. The only thing is the chicken dumpling are a little too heavy with allspice for my liking but if you love allspice you'll love them. The highlight of the meal was the summer rolls. They were the definition of delicious. If I could I'd eat 100 of them.
Very fun and neat to learn about the process of brewing tea correctly. Great selection of loose teas and good was all very tasty. A very reasonable price for the experience!
The dim sum was pretty good and the tea has a wide selection. When asked if I wanted chop sticks or fork, I asked for both. They said I could only choose one or the other, not both. I also asked for two extra sauce dipping bowls, because we had several folks at our table. Again, I was told no extra bowls. They would refill when needed. They won the war, but loss the battle. What could have been a more pleasurable experience, left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll find a more hospitable restaurant experience somewhere else.
They have best wonton soup. The staff there were friendly except for one person. We didn't like her attitude but overall the restaurant wasn't bad. If she had a better attitude it would be great.
We had a great experience visiting this place. Try it!
Everything was absolutely fantastic. We could choose from tatami-style seating, where we had to take our shoes off, or regular table dining. We chose tatami-style seating and it made the whole experience that much better. The dumplings were hot, extremely flavorful, and made perfectly. The tea ceremony was an additional $5 per person and you got to pick which tea(s) you would have. They have a very wide variety of loose leaf teas to choose from. The number of teas you could choose for the tea ceremony depends on the number of people in your party. This is a new favorite place of mine for when I visit and I can't wait to come back.
Fun time! Teas were delicious!

DO NOT go there, TERRIBLE customer service! Servers are not eager to serve and the owner just repel new customers by refusing to serve food at 8.40pm, because their kitchen closes at 8pm, however the restaurant is officially open until 9pm Completely dissatisfying and disappointing experience. Bad business practices. I tried that food before and it was ok, but even during the previous visit the service was not very good. The server never checked on me and o had to call for her to come to my table three times.
Incredible tea selection - it was so hard to choose. Food does take a while but is very tasty!

The only thing I enjoyed about this place, was the amount of tea available. When it came to getting seated, you had to walk around to have them seat you. Next, you go select a tea and bring it back to your table. This process was so confusing for first timers here. The tea was great. The food on the other hand, was horrible. The xiao long baos didn't have any soup in them. Instead, they were in soup themselves. The soup tasted like chicken broth out of a can, and the dumplings had so much dough in them. They were soggy, and always broke apart. The boba tea was not good either. The tapioca was so hard. It was hard to get ahold of someone to make us more tea, so I finally gave up. Nobody came around to check on us either, so I went to the "front" (side? rear?) desk to pay, and got right out of there.
The female employee that made our tea could have complimented my chopsticks skills (I have only been using them all of my life...), but instead, she made an unnecessary comment.
Maybe this is the best Colorado Springs offers, but I don't consider this anything close to what it should be.

This is a place where I always feel at peace. The tea and food just make me feel so content, satisfying all my taste buds to nirvana! Service is well knowledgeable, and the staff are just so friendly! It's definitely a high recommendation to come to with family, friends or special date days!

There is a server who is absolutely terrible. She’s racist, anti children, rude. On the top of it she doesn’t know anything about tea. She ruined our experience at the tea store, as a regular customer we will not go anymore.
