I have been wanting to try this teahouse for ages. I have never actually been to a real tea house or seen a tea ceremony so this was a special treat. The place is cozy yet elegantly decorated. When we entered, they asked if we had been in before, and we replied we had not, so they walked us through everything. It cost five dollars per person to sit down for the tea ceremony and then the food was extra, whatever we ordered. You order at the counter while looking at the menus. We decided to try several different dim sum items. We each got to choose our tea; I chose cinnamon chai while my husband asked for the blackberry green tea. We only looked at the any jars of tea on the back wall, but there were teas everywhere to choose from. We sat down at the table they set for us with our jars of tea, and one of the young ladies came over and explained the whole tea service to us even as she performed it. The ceremony was somewhat elaborate and very peaceful and the tea was incredibly good. I especially liked the Chinese blackberry, sweet leaves which they offered us as an alternative sweetener. As we drank our teas, our food items came out sporadically, as is expected with dim sum. First, we received the Vegan Dumplings (3 pcs: cabbage, carrot & vermicelli), then the Family Recipe Summer Rolls (3 pcs: rib meat, onion, bell pepper & mix greens). Next they brought out the Juicy Chicken Buns (3 pcs: chicken, straw mushroom & white pepper) and the Chicken Dumplings (4 pcs: chicken, corn, peas, celery & seven spice). Lastly, the Vegan Buns (3 pcs: vermicelli, black mushroom, carrot & tofu) arrived. Everything tasted amazing! Our favorites were the Vegan Dumplings & the Family Recipe Summer Rolls, but everything was delicious. The buns (bao) were perfectly made & beautifully presented. For the entire experience and a large meal for 2, we paid only $45.50 (before tax, tip, & the sweet tea leaves I purchased). I'm so happy we finally got to visit here and look forward to the next time!

My first time and the entire experience was fabulous. The dim sum was delicious. We especially liked the taro and coconut bun. But really, everything was good, including the tea. I can't wait to go back.

They have added a boba tea counter...ALL of which is powder mixes, bleh. I ordered the Thai tea, and watched as scoops of powdered 'tea' and powdered 'milk' were mixed with ice and bobas, the server made way too much and after they filled my cup, dumped almost as much down the sink... what a waste. The end result was a bland, watery mess. My friends drink was about the same. :(

If you are coming here for the dim sum, be prepared to be understanding that everything is frozen and then reheated/steamed/fried - it's unclear if it is made in-house. It is not a dim sum restaurant. If you are coming for the tea selection, tea service and general ambience, you will not be disappointed. I give them 5 stars for the tea and tea service and 1 star for the dim sum (do NOT order the radish cake, it seems desiccated to the point of being like a chip rather than the soft, moist, tender cake it should be). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the tea selection is expansive and the restaurant is clean.

As a tea and dim sum lover, this place was awesome! We had a group of 4. They let us choose 3 teas that could be brewed up to 3 times in the pot. Tea cups were tiny so there were a lot of refills but kind of fun that way. I thought everything we ordered on the dim sum menu was great. One memorable one was the rice meatballs (unpictured). Unique item that one doesn't usually see, but very tasty. Would absolutely come back.

First, I enjoy the food. I'd give it an "8", whereas a few years ago it was definitely a "9". Still really good. But some time ago they changed their model to avoid those bothersome and pesky, time consuming customers. 1) Instead of providing menus at the table and a table waitress to discuss your questions about their menu, you have to stand in line behind other people to read a posted menu (maybe there will be someone to answer questions about food items, or not). This really only works for one person scanning the menu at a time - otherwise you almost have to swap positions to read all the pages. And if you are waiting in a long line, this can take a long time with no way to predict how long the wait will be. 2) they used to help you choose tea from the many varieties they have in multiple areas. Now you go on your own and 'guess'. Time consuming and frustrating and a 'crap shoot' result. 3) the waitress time at the table is rushed. You have to find someone if, for instance, you anticipate more dipping sauce (and you will run out because the portions are tiny, but never fear, once you've overcome their objections they will reluctantly bring you another very tiny portion). 4) you have to go back to the front area to find someone who will give you your bill. The last time I asked the only person in front of I could get my bill, and she snapped back, "You're going to have to wait cause I'm running the kitchen right now!" Yikes, so sorry it's such a bothersome interrupt to interact with your customers. And when somebody does show up to take your money, they batch this process too, so you have to wait in line again, at their convenience. So try it out if you're willing to spend your time doing so many of the little things we take for granted in a true service and customer friendly restaurant. But I'm never going back.

I came in yesterday evening and absolutely loved the place. I had boba tea and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the employees are very knowledgeable. Aside from the boba tea, they sell many other different kinds of teas with lots of specific information listed. I will be sure to try their food next time! The prices are also pretty reasonable. You will not be disappointed.

This is one of the best tea houses I've been to in my whole life. My whole family are connoisseurs and we always make the hour and a half drive down to Colorado Springs for their amazing tea service. All of their teas are exquisite and unbelievably fairly priced same thing goes for their food tea sets everything you cannot beat the prices . I cannot recommend this place to you enough. The owner is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet, the food you will not forget, the tea you will dream about often. They also honor the traditional Chinese tea service and the intention and significance behind it. That means tea service here will take time so remember that if you're in a rush. GO HERE!!!

The tea is excellent you get to pick what you want and they take it to your table and then have you sit down and they do the little ceremony. The food was good also. We got some dumplings. The service was excellent the server was very nice.

My husband and I LOVE this Place!! Lin(the owner) is so knowledgeable about tea and incredibly helpful to getting you what you need. I've been drinking the clear skin tea based on her recommendations and my skin has cleared up incredibly! The food and service is so good and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. We love coming here weekly and always get tea to take home! Highly recommend!

If you like microwaved dumplings and un steeped tea definitely come here. Especially if you enjoy a "tea ceremony" where the server doesn't talk to you and is in such a rush that she spills the water. Extra points for the mandatory seat charge , the paper water cups and the chipped wallpaper.

We arrived at 7 and their kitchen closes at 8 but they immediately told us their kitchen was about to close soon and we needed to hurry and order. Our friends were running about 15 mins behind and they asked us about 3 or 4 times if they wanted us to wait for them to do the tea ceremony, which is like the whole part so obviously we wanted them to wait. If you want dinner I would say get that first and go here after. It wasn't bad but it was just kinda meh and you have to order a lot of food to feel full. Me and my friends went and got food after eating food here. The tea ceremony was nice and the teas were delicious. I would say this is more of an Asian tea and tapas spot, great for sober folks or tea heads.
