Everything from the atmosphere, to the food, to the service is amazing at Zocalo. The owner, Sergio, makes everyone feel like family. Add this place to your list of must try's for good Mexican food here in Colorado Springs!
Zocalo was recommended, and it did not disappoint. Their menu is creative and has some great twists on Mexican cuisine.
Started with the Chips & Salsa. Fresh crispy chips fresh out the fryer and very tasty salsa with a good kick. I tried several of their tacos and they were all great. Tacos I tried: Panela Mushroom, Steak Chimichurri, El Macho, Quesabirria, and Eaquites. To wet my taste buds, I had the Ancho Old Fashion. And it was delicious.

I’ve been a few times now and the food and service has been exceptional each time! The owner has come over to personally ask how things were each time and he’s extremely friendly! It’s my new favorite taco spot in COS!!!
