Cozy cafe in the heart of conifer. Good brunch place. Service was quick and the staffs were friendly.

Been a long time customer here love the food and the atmosphere. But the 0.50 cent price increase per egg served? What a joke I will not be back to the restaurant.

Good food and great service for lunch, but adding PIF and Kitchen surcharge on my bill is deceptive.

Edit to the owner: I appreciate your reply and understand that running a business is not easy. But I hold that added fees by any business -- car dealer, phone company, restaurant, Airbnb, or other -- beyond the published price is deceptive. If everyone published the prices, we wouldn't experience these surprises. I assume you would like the same when you are a customer.

Went in on a late Sunday morning after a backpacking trip. We (3) were starving to say the least - menu was large and easy to read so we decided quick. All said and done we were seated in moments and drinks mere moments after. Served even quicker.

I went with the black beam and corn skillet bowl, comes with eggs and a side carb, I chose the pancake.

I'm not kidding that pancake was one of if not THE best pancake I've ever had... fluffy but.. heavy. Sweet but.. spiced. Decadent and left nothing to be desired because it was gone in seconds. I will be going back for a 6 stack and some fruit next time 😄

Best place in Conifer. A True Local Diner still standing. The staff was most pleasant and the food was absolutely fantastic. Happy Memorial Day, on this day of valor, honor and service it saddense to do over privileged people (see biscuits and sausage below) whom never seem to have had a glimpse of real strife in Life. What a terrible first world problem she has 🤣🤣🤣. Should be thankful there's more than enough to eat in this country, half the world is starving.

Over priced with extra charge for eggs. When asked for a straw it was brought to me with no wrapper which is disgusting. Waitress too busy eating her breakfast and on phone to refill coffee.

Disappointed with my experience. The biscuits and gravy were inedible, the bacon on the Bloody Mary chewy and old, and the Bloody Mary itself tasted bad. Only the coffee and pancake were tolerable. The total cost for two people was over $60, and the portion of the meal that I could only consume in one bite or sip was not deducted from the bill.

This establishment does not deserve a rating of 4.5 stars.

UPDATED RESPONSE:

"She did offer to make you another breakfast which you declined." -> Of course I declined. I don't want to eat bad food.

"It would have been great if you had asked to speak to floor manager or chef to help handle the situation. She is now aware of the best way to manage similar issues." -> Completely understandable.

"FYI .. our bacon is made fresh daily, as is our gravy." -> The gravy was definitely fresh - in my subjective opinion, it just tasted bad. The bacon was unquestionably stale.

I live in the area and this is my go to place for breakfast. I usually get the 2 eggs and sausage plate but mix it up with the Jalapeno and cheese elk sausage plate which is always on point.

Service is fast and friendly. This is what every good breakfast place should be like.

I have lived here 7 years and never tried Conifer Cafe until last weekend. I have to say the food was good, and I went back again today! In addition to great food, the wait staff has been fantastic on both visits. Also, the proportions are solid and the menu prices are reasonable. I will be making this part of my regular rotation!

The elk sausage and eggs were outrages, not gamie at all. The Mexican skillet was really good and they have half portions. Service was awesome and fast. Highly recommend, this place just become one of my favorite breakfast places.

The only place to consider for breakfast in Conifer anymore, and it is good stuff. The Huevos Rancheros are some of the best I have ever had. The Tamales, Pork Chop breakfast, Elk Sausage, and country fried steak are great as well. In all of my years here, I have not had Lunch there as work gets on the way, but I am sure it is good as well. The staff is friendly and generally ok top of it.
