My family I ordered: carne asada fries, 2x carne asada tacos, 1 birria taco, and 1 birria burrito. The burrito was 9/10, just lacking salsa. The birria taco was pretty good, but the carne asada tacos were super dry. And the fries were cold, the meat was dry, and overall it wasn’t the best. I would definitely come back for the birria burrito, but I’d be weary of trying the carne asada in a burrito.

I have eaten here several times over the years since it opened. In the beginning you could expect good food, friendly service and a clean conditions. Gradually the quality of everything has dropped and I will no longer visit this place. Last night the food and service were horrible. There was standing water on the floor and a dead cockroach. (I've lived in the four corners for 25 years and never seen a cockroach here). My food arrived 45 mins after ordering and was cold. The servers kept ignoring us and I had to get up and go over and talk to him about my food. The servers attended to tables that were ordering drinks but ignored us. We waited 30 mins for our bill and it was never brought to us. I walked to the counter holding my CC and the person didnt say a single word to me, just held out a receipt. Rude people, awful food, and gross conditions. My days at Agave Azul are done.

This place was really good for so long but for some reason recently its gone downhill. Ordering online was ridiculous. I went to pick up my order and had to wait 2-3 min to even see an employee. Like nobody at all was there. I picked up my meal but they didnt have any cups out for salsa and the food 100% needed it. The tacos we bought had almost no toppings on them and the meat portion was almost halved. The carne asada tacos were horribly seasoned. I spent $40 on a meal that half my family couldn't finish. I called to try and get ahold of a person to talk about the food and the phone option to talk to a person just hangs up on you. Im really bummed, this was my favorite spot for so long.

Maybe ok for tourists. If you've ever spent time in Albuquerque, you'll be disappointed. No flavor, no meat. Every table was dirty and there was only one other couple in the place. One employee present. Seems the owner was the cashier, waiter, bartender, busser, and cook. Good luck
The service was non-existent. We recently move back to the area, and finally got around to giving this place a try. We walked in, and tried to place our order. The girl at the counter where we order, clearly wasn't interested in helping us. After we decided what we wanted, we re-approached the counter to place our order. Halfway through placing our order (specifically ordering a quesadilla for my kiddo) the girl took a phone call and proceeded to laugh and giggle in her conversation. She completely checked out of taking our order, without any acknowledgement or indication if she was going to continue taking our order, or just ignored completely from then on. We ended up walking out, and I am sure she didn't even realize it. Lost our business before we ever got started.

We sat in the front where there was plenty of light and plants. Ordered the special which was 3 tostadas with choice of meat. Very packed and yummy! Daughter ordered menudo, very good. There was a lot of flies and one flew right into her menudo towards the end of her eating. Loss her appetite and I hoped no flies were going around the salsa bar. Waitress started sweeping while we ate and mopping. Strong fabuloso smell during eating was a turn off.
