We’d taken a long day trip to Lake City and were too tired to cook, so we went to Arp’s, which may be the only place in town I could get gluten free options. It seems most of the restaurants cater to the Texas crowd with chicken fried this or that, pizza, or burgers. This place has options for those of us with dietary restrictions! Yeah! I had the felafel plate, my husband, who can eat anything, had the fried chicken plate with fries and the roasted vegetables. Both were excellent....read full review
When another restaurant was unexpectedly closed, me and 21 of my closest friends crashed Arps for lunch. We were greeted with open arms, delicious food and excellent service. This was a very happy accident.

My friend and I ordered the smoked pork green chili soup and it was the BEST!!!! The service was good and decor and location right down the street from that signature cleft in the mountains was so beautiful.
