Food we received was excellent & we received an extra serving because the waitress made a mistake. My husband was disappointed that the wine he wanted was not available, but we substituted. A bit noisy because if a large group next to us-not in your control
We had a lovely experience having dinner at the bar at Elk Prime in Crested Butte. The bar staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We will be back!
Tried the Beet salad and it was delicious. Steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband loves the oysters and the lobster ravioli. Greg, Tina and Molly make it an experience we look forward to!
We truly enjoyed everything and made lasting memories with our children and grandchildren; however I was disappointed after getting back to the hotel to find that we were charged $114 for the 8 oz filet which was $72 on the menu. I guess it's on me for not looking through the bill before paying and I left some extra gratuity on the check. Other than that it was a nice experience. When we were there over Christmas, it was very good.
Service was very good, super welcoming folks. Ambiance was fine. Prices are insanely high - seafood tower should probably specify that it's cold. Potato wedges were mediocre and didn't come with anything to dip. Brussel sprouts were the highlight - fantastic. At this price point all food should be excellent and it was just solid.
They changed the menu and everything is so expensive! The presentation and steak was disappointing. We will not be returning.
We love Elk Ave Prine. It is a little pricey and they should offer at least one red wine under $70/bottle. But their food is always delicious!
Arrived a few minutes early and we were seated right away. We chose seating at the bar on our arrival. The staff had great suggestions on meal selection. Food was excellent and service as well. We will return on our next trip.
Tender flavorful filets and exquisite side dishes, with excellent service from our waitress, Francesca. Old Fashioned as well as the BlackBerry Nojito mocktail were both well executed and the atmosphere was quiet and leisurely. Definitely would go again!
Very disappointed!!! Arrived to our reservation early only to be sat at a table and receive no service for over 30 minutes. Parties around us and received water, bread, drinks and even apps by the time a service member came to us. We left soon after. Waitress and manager even were aware of situation as I received a call immediately after our departure for "out of character service". Funny to notice that as we walked out the door. My wife and I celebrated 6 years together elsewhere in Crested Butte. Would not recommend Elk Ave Prime.

Patrick was our waiter and was super nice and attentive. Our steak came out a little undercooked, so he took it back, and it came back to us perfectly. The drinks were delicious, and we can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend Elk Ave. Prime!
My wife had a filet mignon, I had the elk steak. It was delicious, both cooked perfectly. We also split a Caesar salad, mashed potatoes & crispy brussels sprouts. Amy was our great waitress. We enjoyed the experience.
Service and experience was good as always. My steak was over cooked, asked for med-rare and came out charred and med-well. Disappointed considering it's $70 lol! Didn't send it back because we were celebrating an anniversary and didn't want to fuss. Otherwise was a good night.
We had dinner here Saturday night. From the moment we sat down, Amy the waitress was quiet and not very friendly. She gave us the menu without explaining much or giving us any recommendations on anything, she took a while to come back and take our order. This place is already expensive for servers not to try to make the dinning experience better, and it seems way overpriced with this type of service. Meanwhile Brittany the waitress helping the table next to us, was amazing! I even had to ask her for some recommendations, I was overhearing the way she was helping her table and she is a really good server! She even recommended places to visit, I was so bummed we didn’t get her to help us from the start because our experience would’ve been way better! She’s the only reason I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars and not 1. The food was great, but I don’t think I’ll come back here considering how overpriced it was for such a poor experience.

Went for dinner for a friends birthday. Everything was good, nothing was great. Nice place, good steak, good sides and a good wedge salad. Service was decent. I ordered a $300 bottle of wine, server did not refill our glasses. Not a big deal but I kind of expected a bit better service. I'd go back the next time I'm in Crested Butte but I won't go in expected to be blown away by anything great. Good but not great.
