Not like it was when Curtis ran the place. We still enjoyed ourselves and we understand how difficult it is to get staff. Everyone was cheerful and helpful.

We loved Happy Hour at Prime! Sitting on patio in the beauty of the afternoon with delicious food and attentive wait staff was a fabulous experience.

This was the best Elk Ave Prime meal we have had in a quite some time. Jonathan took great care of us and my food allergies. I did miss them making my special salad dressing they used to have ready for my wedge when they saw my reservation. I will miss not having the wedge as an option. My tenderloin steak was perfect as were the steaks of the others dining with me. Looking to forward to making Elk back on our regular dinner rotation!

Celebrated our 9th anniversary here!Literally the best meal I've had. Starting with the smoked steak tartar, to the entrees of rack of lamb and Alakan Halibut..wedge salad..amazing!

Joe was a terrific server and the bar staff were excellent. Also nicely welcomed by the manager.

Went at 7:30 for supper on a Tuesday. It was not close to being full. I did not see a server for more than 5 minutes and thereafter, infrequently. Bus men served my meal. My halibut was pricey but good. The menu is weak on vegetables.

Very poor service, told us we had to order everything at once which was fine, our wine and large appetizers came out rather quick. Main course took well over an hour to come out. Management came to apologize about the wait, asked if she could bring anything to make up for lost order, said she would bring more bread. Never seen the bread, order came out 15-20 minutes later. All tables around us arrived after us had already left. Food was excellent. However services are lacking. 20 percent tip was added to our bill.
Frustrating how restaurants & staff just expect everything these days🤬Sat July 26th

This was a lovely evening and the food and service were excellent. The restaurant is a little over priced, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything.

Yeah, It was not a great experience. It took an hour for us to get our food and then when we got our food, Everything was super salty. The waiter didn’t even bring us bread. Oh yeah, did I tell you we waited an hour for our food. It was horrible.

We had an amazing dinner! Service was great (thank you Grant)! We had the salmon crudo, halibut, mashed potatoes, and the brownie and each dish was a home run. Halibut was flavorful and cooked well- I was suprised that even their non-steak dishes were so good! Their mashed potatoes were sinful! A must order. We will be back!!

There is an expression that says “ you can't go back” Well, that expression is not one I would use when talking about Elk Avenue Prime. Saturday night was an extremely busy evening and it took a little longer to get our order than normal... that being said, we had a delightful evening and we will most certainly “go back”.

If you sit on the patio be prepared for lack luster service. Last time we ate here we sat inside and it was a completely different experience.

Only reason not giving 5 stars is my heart was broken about the $175 Tomahawk steak. I ASKED before I ordered it if it would be served on the bone and was told yes, when it came to the table it was all cut off the bone and just the bone chilling on the plate. I would never normally spend that kind of money but I saved and was so excited for the experience of a giant chunk of meat on the bone and I did not get it. SUPER SAD. Everything else was great!
