The food here is amazing. I've been eating there for over 30 years. I have to say, though, that the mozzarella sticks were the best I had ever had. Please bring them back and put them back on the menu!!
I don’t appreciate being asked to tip the chef by the cashier with the chef literally standing over their shoulder listening. I declined to tip because prices were high enough and I don’t tip prior to receiving service. It seemed like the chef took it personally and held my food on the grill for an extra 15 minutes just to make me wait longer. I can see that the owner has stated they pay their staff a living wage, which I appreciate, but don’t guilt your customers into supplementing...
Pumps weren't working well and had to prepay, but the staff was more than happy to help out and apologized for any inconvenience. Good location in town to get gas on the way back from hiking near Slate River.
