We had a great meal at Marchitelli’s from the appetizers all the way through to dessert. The service was outstanding and Chef Michael even stopped by to say hello! We will definitely go back on our next trip to Crested Butte. Excellent!

Stephanie was wonderful and it's obvious that this restaurant means a lot to the family and team that operate it. We did not have a reservation but the hostess was kind nonetheless and was able to accommodate us. That said, do try to make a reservation because this is a must try restaurant. The bruschetta was great. The pesto was excellent. The elk cannelloni was also really good. The Gourmet Noodle was recommended to us by our ski instructor and she was right! Thanks, Wendy!

Prompt and courteous service and fantastic food. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was wonderful.

Went here for a birthday dinner right before Christmas. It was busy but we got a nice table in the corner so it didn’t feel too loud. The atmosphere is quite pretty. The service was exceptional. And the food was excellent. The homemade bread service was a definite plus. We had fettuccine and lasagna as well as two appetizers. The homemade fried cheese appetizer is the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had an excellent dinner. Group of 5 all ordered different dishes and all were outstanding. Highly impressed with the quality of the food and the top notch service and laughs with Josie! I’ll definitely return next time I’m in CB.

I have a love affair with this restaurant. Specifically, the bar. The drinks and food are both on point. Tony takes care of you if you sit at the bar. Martinis are delicious (and cold), cocktails and wine specials do not disappoint.

This was the weirdest dining experience we have had by far. I called ahead of time to see if reservations were required or we could walk in as we had a few other dinner options we were considering in town. The hostess said she could make room for us with a patio table at 5:45pm- totally fine since the weather was nice .We showed up and the hostess was frantically running around and never greeted us just asked if we had reservations. She took us to their porch entrance (not the patio at all) to a table sitting in a corner by the entry door that everyone walks through to get to the hostess stand with no one else outside, tossed the menus down and walked away. At this point my husband thought she was joking with us. The table was literally placed as if we were the restaurant greeters pushed into a corner. The actual patio we thought we were sitting on was much better and had tables in an open space out front but it was never offered to us. At this point we wanted to leave but decided to wait it out hoping the food was good. There was a lot of younger kids working (like 14 years old)- they were all polite and nice but with the hostess yelling at them and being condescending the entire meal it was extremely awkward. It took awhile for the waitress to get to us and when she did she quickly spewed off specials sounding very nervous and quickly walked away not saying anything like she’d be back to take our order. Every person that walked by to enter the restaurant laughed or made a weird face at us also in disbelief with where we were sitting and having dinner. We held out hope thinking the food would be good and while it did taste good while we were there, I got food poisoning that evening from the shrimp scampi. The table we sat at shouldn’t even be an option for guests… when you’re booked just say you’re booked. There are much better and friendlier options in town and we will not be returning back.

This place is absolutely top notch. The food and service is incredible. I've been here numerous times and I can't get enough, I'll always stop by when in CB. Thanks for making it such a memorable experience for my parents as well!

Dining here was a disappointment. The salad special was quite good but the PEI Mussels were large and very tough. I haven’t had Mussels that tough in many years and did not expect that here. The waitstaff was quite good and well-versed. Dinner for 4 with 1 cocktail each for three was over $350. The restaurant was very crowded and loud and, in fact, at one point the noise level set off my Apple Watch Environmental Noise Alert. Not good.

A very cool restaurant, the staff was amazing super friendly and very attentive. The food however was very lack luster. One member at the table was served undercooked chicken. The portions were very small, almost every person's pasta was over cooked.

Fantastic, food, service, and ambience! Highly recommend! They did everything to make our meal enjoyable and sit. We're so accommodating, even though we didn't have a reservation and had to wait briefly.

We placed our supper order at 6:05 pm. We received our supper order at 7:10 pm -- over an hour. Everyone else in the restaurant was enjoying their meals. Even the waitress commented, when she put the plates down in the wrong place, that she forgot what we ordered, it had been so long. She later comped our wine, which was nice, but not worth waiting over an hour. We couldn't even enjoy a pleasant conversation while waiting since the restaurant is noisy and there were screaming babies. Our table was so small it could not even fit 2 place mats on it. There were 2 boys roaming around with a water carafe, frequently asking us how everything was. Seems pretty obvious. If they put children to work, they should at least have some training. The waitress was friendly. Note that the restaurant charges a 4% credit card fee even if you don't plan to pay with a credit card. It's too bad; with better management, I think this could be a good restaurant -- which Crested Butte really needs. We will not go back.
