Irwin Brewing Company’s Public House

If you are like us and have not been in Public House for a while, do yourself a favor and give them a try. We always felt like the experience was decent but I feel like they have changed the culture and last night's dinner was fantastic. Our server was great, the food terrific, and management was very attentive. Plus we never knew they took reservations! Delightful dinner!

The food was good. The service was good. There was a band warming up downstairs at 6pm for a 9pm show and the booth shook from the volume the entire time we were there. It was hard to have a conversation at times. It was loud and unpleasant. Not relaxing at all. I would check to make sure they didn't have a band before going.

Always one of our overall favorite spots in CB. The bison bolognese is so good! My kids love the Elk meatloaf and PH burger and the chili is classic as well. Service always solid. Make sure to order a rootbeer!

We waited for over an hour for our food and when it arrived it was awful. The pasta was over cooked and definitely didn't have whipped burrata. Our kids chicken fingers and burger were also over cooked. Honestly wish we hadn't stayed

Best place we dined at in Crested! Ambiance and vibe were perfect, food was amazing. My husband got the steak and it was the best one he had the whole trip (and we had tried a few places in Crested). I had the half chicken and it was great as well. Chris and the staff were top tier, we highly recommend checking this place out. They also have a bar downstairs that has live music which seemed pretty cool as well. If we wouldn't have been so full we'd have stayed!

Great food, atmosphere, drinks, and service! I would highly recommend. We went early at 5:30 with our kids and it was great!

Food was delicious. The fig flatbread, the bacon burger, cornbread in an iron skillet, all excellent! Lunch was amazing so we went back for dinner! Definitely, go and have a great meal here while in crested butte!

My friends/clients and I had a FABULOUS meal at Public House. The place was festive and energetic and our food came quickly even though they were very busy. Our server was attentive and very sweet. The GM came out to visit and right away when I saw him I knew why the food was SO wonderful. I know him from his previous restaurant and the quality of the food we had easily compared to the quality he is known for. I will MOST definitely recommend the Public House to friends and clients without hesitation.

Public House has the best classic hamburger in Crested Butte. We've always had good service when we dine there and the restaurant is always clean. All in all, we truly enjoy this restaurant and glad that it opened a few years ago.

We had a lovely experience! The service was wonderful, and our server and the bartender went out of their way to make a requested drink. We loved the setting and the noise level was low so we could visit easily. And the dessert for our Birthday girl was awesome!! A great evening so thank you and we will be back!

Elk meatloaf was outstanding. Cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent. Would definitely go there again!

Sophia was awesome so was the food and atmosphere. Our food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place!

For $24 I would have expected a larger portion, or better plating. See pic of the gnocchi.

Had a delicious dinner here this evening. We had the burger and a spinach salad with grilled chicken and both were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly too! We also especially enjoyed the Public House white wine blend from a local winery! This was our first time in Crested Butte and we highly recommend it!

Excellent experience from the start. We were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and the host (guessing the owner as well?) greeted us with champagne as we were seated. The meal was outstanding as well. Elk Tenderloin was a top 10 steak that I've ever had. Highly recommend the Public House if you're in CB!
