Had dinner at PublicHouse and the food was really good, standout even. They’re short-staffed, which meant our waiter was stretched thin across many tables. He managed well all things considered, but it's clear they could use more help. It’s a place worth visiting for the food alone, and I hope they find the extra hands they need. Would go back to see if things improve.

I was looking forward to eating here - I came a few years ago with my dad and enjoyed the lively dining area and history. Unfortunately, this time we were sat downstairs in the basement. The atmosphere was completely different - it was freezing cold (everyone was wearing jackets and hats), no music, and only 1 other couple at the time. I almost left but we didn’t want to wait somewhere else. Service was fine downstairs but it didn’t have the same boisterous, fun atmosphere as upstairs. To make matters worse, we sat on outside patio furniture and the downstairs smelled terribly like car exhaust.I’d go back but only if we sat upstairs in the dining room.

Service was good, and the quality of food was good, but a $5 up- charge for the substitution of a vegetarian patty is absolutely RIDICULOUS! Restaurants should be encouraging, rather than discouraging, patrons to eat healthfully! One could purchase an entire package of veggie burgers for $5. They changed their poutine and it stinks now. Bad decision we always would order their poutine not much of a reason to go now

Sat in the top dining area at dinner time service was quick gave us a good chance to look at menus and once orders were placed food came out quickly, timing was the appetizers were only minutes before main dishes but everything came out delicious and way more filling then was expected. I highly recommend trying their Brussel sprouts appetizer it's amazing!

Really enjoyed this restaurant in the heart of downtown crested butte. We decided to eat here based off the recommendations from the receptionist at our hotel. Definitely a local spot with a lot of heart, history and personality. Lots of beer options on tap along with speciality drinks and a wine menu. Enjoyed the burger while watching a snowboarding documentary!
Our group had the elk meatloaf, chicken sandwich, and poutine. All were SO good. Elk meatloaf with potatoes was everything you could have wanted and the side salad balanced the flavors. Fried chicken sandwich was huge and crispy. Poutine was huge and so good. I had their fire on the mountain to drink and it was pretty darn spicy. Enough that I had to take a little gravy after every few sips to keep it chill.

The food was unreal! We got chicken wings as a starter (they are smoked and then fried) and they may have been the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. They said they just started making wings and it’s just a weekend special as of now! For our meals, we got a burger and the elk meatloaf. The burger was delicious and the meatloaf was out of this world! Forgot to get pics but I highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Public House… pleasantly surprised to be able to get a delicious salad with grilled, blackened chicken, goat cheese, cranberries, pepitas, and more at a pub! Service was fantastic. Loved it!
