The coffee hot ☕️ spot in CB. Wife says they have very good matcha tea. She added one pump of lavender to smooth it out. I should have done the same with my latte.
She says the staff are really down to earth 🌎 true locals.
Very friendly staff and yummy lattes. Brought our kids here and they were very welcomed
We live in the springs and come to Crested Butte often. Have been here before and experienced rude service, thought it was a one off so we went again. Lady behind the counter was incredibly rude, didn't even look at us when taking the order. When someone else walked in behind us that she knew, her whole demeanor changed and was friendly to him. Obviously a common trait here. I was going to buy some books as well, but decided not to due to poor customer service. I will spend my money elsewhere, with people who can be kind. Never stopping here again.
Great coffee. Thank you!
I frequent this coffee shop when I’m in town. Everything I’ve tried here is delicious.
Try the cappuccino or the chai! So good!
I enjoy browsing the book shop while I’m in. There is also local merchandise for sale!
Highly recommend.
Barista dude was extremely unfriendly. Not rude though, just terribly bothered.
I ordered 2 drip coffees. There were thermoses on the counter for self serve. I was able to get half a cup out of one and kindly pointed it out. Boy was he bothered to get them filled and said in an annoying time it would take a while. He offered to make me an Americano. I thankfully accepted. He was already serving another guy, so when he handed it to me and I asked for oat milk, he was even more bothered.
I guess everyone can have a bad day, so I didn't make a deal out of it but if you work in service you should have it together.
Cute lil place. Very calm and chill atmosphere and the girl working when I went in was a delight! Very glad they also sold bags of the teas they use so I could take some home with me.
Great coffee, unfriendly staff, who you could tell hated tourists , although by us being there we generate greater business . So a smile may have been nice , for me spending 10$ on 2 coffees
Great tasting latte, my kids loved it as well!
Absolutely wonderful. My favorite coffee shop and the connected bookstore is great as well.

Really good coffee and service. Despite being only one employee working. She was lighting fast.

One of the best chai lattes I have had (ask for Bhakti chai if you like a truly spicy chai). Friendly barista.
Dietary restrictions: They have alternate milks for an additional cost.

If you like Aspen, but prefer a more homey vibe, you definitely have to visit Crested Butte and the Rumors Coffee House. Cute book store and the white mocha is to die for! LGBTQIA friendly.

Horrible internet connection & rancid beans used for decaf coffee. Totally disappointed...never again. There use to be a coffee house at the end of Elk... terrific coffee ☹️
