Our breve lattes were delicious and they had a couple of gluten free pastries but there is cross contamination. They aren’t wrapped they are in the same area as the gluten ones. I saw the guy grabbing it from the display ones.

Stopped in while visiting from out of town (we live in Colorado) and immediately felt unwelcome. The woman behind the counter barely acknowledged us — no smile, no greeting, just a cold, dismissive attitude that made us feel like we didn’t belong. It wasn’t busy, so the lack of basic kindness stood out even more.

What’s most disappointing is that this place presents itself as inclusive and community-focused — what’s ironic is, they make you feel unwelcome if you aren’t from CB. The baristas entire demeanor changed when a local came into the shop. But that spirit was nowhere to be found during our visit. If you’re not a local, don’t expect a warm welcome.

Nice space, okay coffee, but energy matters — and this just didn’t feel like a place that wants you there.

I love this spot! I’ve had everything from coffee drinks to their different iced teas and Matcha and thought they were all really good. The service has always been great and everyone was friendly and welcoming. There are some indoor seating and outdoor seating as well with a great location on elk Avenue! And the best part is is it shares the same building as the bookstore which is absolutely lovely and enhances the vibe

The coffee hot ☕️ spot in CB. Wife says they have very good matcha tea. She added one pump of lavender to smooth it out. I should have done the same with my latte.
She says the staff are really down to earth 🌎 true locals.

We live in the springs and come to Crested Butte often. Have been here before and experienced rude service, thought it was a one off so we went again. Lady behind the counter was incredibly rude, didn't even look at us when taking the order. When someone else walked in behind us that she knew, her whole demeanor changed and was friendly to him. Obviously a common trait here. I was going to buy some books as well, but decided not to due to poor customer service. I will spend my money elsewhere, with people who can be kind. Never stopping here again.

Try the cappuccino or the chai! So good!

I enjoy browsing the book shop while I’m in. There is also local merchandise for sale!
