We were in town on our annual ski trip and looking for the Last Steep, but noticed the Hideout took its' place. It was a bit hectic upon arrival with no hostess, but once seated we enjoyed the new decor. Food was good though we missed the Last Steep menu, but service was excellent amidst the chaos. I never really write reviews, but our server Carrie (sp?) was super personable and attentive. We haven't always had the best service in Crested Butte, but she really made our dining experience. My old fashioned from the bar was excellent as well.

As soon as we heard the owners of secret stash opened another restaurant in town, we knew we had to try it, and I'm so glad we did! This will now be another frequented spot any time we're in Crested Butte. Our server, Choyjng, was phenomenal and probably one of the most attentive and genuinely friendly servers I've had in a while, I will say, none us enjoyed the cocktails we ordered (strawberry zen, uzuloma, & toki toki) and thus if we were to go back, we'd probably skip alcoholic drinks or just order a basic well cocktail. We got the dank o's as an appetizer which were bomb! These were way better than the normal onion rings you get out. For entrees we got the shrimp po boy, bao bundle (fried chicken and birria), and the fried chicken sandwich. Everyone was really satisfied and pleased with their meal! The birria bao was less flavorful than expected and thus I probably wouldn't order that one again, but the fried chicken one was delicious! Personally, I would have given the restaurant 4/5 just because of the drinks and one of my bao's being under seasoned/flavored, but the tables ruling was 5/5.

Cool quirky inside atmosphere - food is amazing. Might go back on same trip because it was soooo good!!

Food and service was great, all the dishes we had including chicken and waffle sliders, burger and crab cake salad we would have again. Service was attentive despite not having a host that night. Price is very reasonable for food quality and location. Kids were happy. Only downside is front sidewalk was icy, almost wiped out on the way out. Would definitely return.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu optionsWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, tight corridors and stairs at entrance

Try something new! You’ll be so glad you did. Coming from a small town on the eastern side of Colorado, we weren’t sure what to expect. Lots of diversity on the menu and amazing things we had never heard of before but were eager to try. We started off with the mushroom appetizer, then got the chicken salad with blue cheese, the heirloom tomato soup and the fried chicken sandwich. This place is very accommodating and even has gluten free and vegan options. Expect bold flavors, amazing sauces, beautifully plated food and delicious flavors. It’s also in a quaint location and has beautiful atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!! P.S. scan the QR code on the menu for a fun secret menu.

We were on Spring Break and decided to try The Hideout but was leery because it is so new. We would have been so sorry to have missed it. The restaurant is very small but very charming. Our server, Adam, was great with recommendations and his service was impeccable. The food was delicious from the chicken and waffle sliders, the bao, and my son's huge fried chicken sandwich. You should do yourself a favor and go.

We went with a large group of people and enjoyed everything we ordered and service was great. You can't go wrong with any items on the menu but Don't miss the Bao party and Kimchi Pasta and end the night with the miso chocolate chip cookie!
