Third Bowl Homemade Ice Cream

Stop here after doing one of the many gorgeous hikes in the area for some ice cream and arcade games.

Didn't have any ice cream, so I can't make any commentary on quality. I've been looking forward to this place opening. I was walking with my large, well behaved service dog (he was incognito, left his vest at home). We stopped in hoping to grab an ice cream and be on our way. But my dog was not welcome there. Seems like a strange policy in a small, friendly town like Hotchkiss. I wish the management well, but unfortunately, me and my dog will have to get our ice cream elsewhere.

Best ice cream I have ever had! The flavor options are incredible - you can't go wrong with any of them especially with the great homemade taste! SO much better than dairy queen or chain ice cream shops. I live about five hours away and would highly recommend the trip, so good!

Third bowl is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had, not to mention the friendly service and amazing atmosphere. Even living 5 hours away, I would highly recommend taking a trip down and stocking up on your favorite flavors - this place is a hidden gem in the Hotchkiss community.

We used Chris & the Third Bowl Ice Cream cart to cater for our wedding reception -- we highly recommend having for any occasion of yours, they did not disappoint! The ice cream was (as always) delicious and guests loved the non-traditional wedding dessert approach. Reasonably priced, great timely service & super fun twist to our wedding. Thanks Chris for being a huge part of our special wedding day!

The retail location is no longer open. Drove all the way to Hotchkiss from Olathe to try the icecream only to find out they no longer have a retail location. Google listing needs to be updated to show closed.

Sad. Apparently not a retail store anymore. We drove around the block 3 times before calling the number and learning they weren't open :-(

This is the best Dairy Free ice cream I have had and also excellent customer service. Although there was an issue with labeling, I emailed during off hours and it was addressed promptly and efficiently this morning.

The photos are almost all from one of Third Bowl's retail outlets. The Hotchkiss location is not open to the public but you can get Third Bowl ice cream at the Creamery Arts Center 2 blocks west. And yes, it's delicious!

Been going to TB for 7 years now, and it's still the best! It's so good. Have tried multiple flavors, and have to recommend the vanilla. It's the best vanilla I've ever had!
