Didn't have any ice cream, so I can't make any commentary on quality. I've been looking forward to this place opening. I was walking with my large, well behaved service dog (he was incognito, left his vest at home). We stopped in hoping to grab an ice cream and be on our way. But my dog was not welcome there. Seems like a strange policy in a small, friendly town like Hotchkiss. I wish the management well, but unfortunately, me and my dog will have to get our ice cream elsewhere.

Best ice cream I have ever had! The flavor options are incredible - you can't go wrong with any of them especially with the great homemade taste! SO much better than dairy queen or chain ice cream shops. I live about five hours away and would highly recommend the trip, so good!

Third bowl is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had, not to mention the friendly service and amazing atmosphere. Even living 5 hours away, I would highly recommend taking a trip down and stocking up on your favorite flavors - this place is a hidden gem in the Hotchkiss community.

We used Chris & the Third Bowl Ice Cream cart to cater for our wedding reception -- we highly recommend having for any occasion of yours, they did not disappoint! The ice cream was (as always) delicious and guests loved the non-traditional wedding dessert approach. Reasonably priced, great timely service & super fun twist to our wedding. Thanks Chris for being a huge part of our special wedding day!

The retail location is no longer open. Drove all the way to Hotchkiss from Olathe to try the icecream only to find out they no longer have a retail location. Google listing needs to be updated to show closed.

The photos are almost all from one of Third Bowl's retail outlets. The Hotchkiss location is not open to the public but you can get Third Bowl ice cream at the Creamery Arts Center 2 blocks west. And yes, it's delicious!

It was a great final stop to our spring break.Excellent blend of flavors. Honey cayenne and malted vanilla Carmel got our vote. Even our daughter tried the honey cayenne and loved it. Our son drove into the cookies a cream and he did manage a complaint that is was brownie chunks instead of Oreos... But for some reason it still managed to go down ?. Thanks for the great flavors.

Homemade ice cream hit the spot after a great dinner downtown, even in the midst of the heaviest snowstorm of the season. It's never too cold for a couple scoops of handmade ice cream. Definitely not "factory handmade" - this is the real deal. Just soft enough, with amazing flavors like Cinnamon Caramel Cayenne and Fruity Pebbles. An all-season treat in Crested Butte that's not to be missed!

Third Bowl is a very very special company! My aunt who lives in Michigan has cancer and she always loved the honey lavender ice cream that Third Bowl made when she visited! Third Bowl was kind enough to create an order for me, pack it in a cooler with dry ice and overnight it to Michigan. Impeccable customer service and a wonderful treat to be able to share this amazing ice cream with my Auntie! Thank you sooooo soooooo much for making this a reality Third Bowl. You don't understand how special the surprise was for my sweet Aunt! Thank you over and over!!!
