We were so excited to eat here - The restraunt is beautiful - loved the decor and we were very warmly greeted - I gave 1 star for the food - because we were never served - We placed our order - nothing special, straight off the menu. We were served our drinks - and waited, and waited - 45 min goes by and our waitress ( who was very nice) is not sure what the hold up is. - Mind you others who have sat down after us have recieved their meals and no it was not busy . Now we are at the hour mark the manager comes to our table and tells us its going to be longer for our food. We were exhausted at this point and asked for our bill for our drinks, paid and left - hungry . No offer to comp anything, or even a small discount. Nothing - They made us feel like our business did not matter and this happens alot.

I ate lunch on a Sunday and had the grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes. It was premo! Easily the best tasting and juiciest chicken breast I've ever eaten. The ambience was fantastic and my meal came pretty quickly. My wife and I are looking forward to going back with Kids and Grandkids ? Also, you don't have to go thru the casino to get to the restaurant.

Dirty dishes sitting at our table when they seated us, never picked them up, server spilled my husbands drink on him and just used the same glass. wine glass looked like it had a booger on it, not attentive, worst experience I have ever had at a resturaunt.

Pretty poor first impression. I called about 10 mins prior to arrival to confirm they were open. The lady on the phone seemed energetic and friendly with a resounding yes, and recited the hours untill 11pm, it was 9:30pm so we had time. We arrive to 4 other people who make a remark as we walk up that maybe WE will get some service. Because THEY had been waiting for awhile. Finally someone comes by and sits the THREE parties waiting. The service was at a snails pace. The food not the best, the broccoli cold, the fried shrimp NOT fresh hot and crispy, more like it had been sitting for awhile. The manager only seemed to care to replace the broccoli, but we had waited so long for our meal in the first place it wasn't worth the additional wait. There was one lady, pig tail braids that wa she most friendly and helpful, mirroring her work ethic would be advantageous.Disappointed overall. Definitely expected a higher degree of service and food.Don't plan on returning to this location

Not up to a steakhouse standards. My medium rare steak was medium well. Very limited menu from all other salt grass steakhouses

It was a beautiful restaurant, well designed. It was a short 40 min wait, with only seeing the front desk attendant twice. The food was fast, almost too fast. I had ordered a ribeye it was supposed to be rare but the dry lump of cold brown steak was definitely not. It looked like it had been stored in a plastic bagin the fridge for a week. And I never thought you could microwave a steak but they proved me wrong. The waitress seemed nervous but was super nice and helpful.

Don't waste your time trying to order a call in or over the phone. You will wait over 15 mins on hold until they hang up or just get a ringer until they hang up. The food is somewhat decent but totally not worth the snaughty stuck up snooty wait staff and front hosts. Absolutely will not be back for those alone on top of the portions way overpriced and over cooked. Would totally not recommend to anyone looking for a decent time or meal!Vegetarian options: Yep Don't waste the time. Wife ordered and is a vegetarian. they had plain old and brown salad and a baked potato that's about itDietary restrictions: They will act concerned and deeply interested in any restrictions, however it is totally disregarded when it comes to the actual foodKid-friendliness: Not really a place for kids

Not what you expect from Salt Grass. Took over an hour for our food to arrive. Restaurant was not busy. Food was cold. Gravy had a crust from sitting. Will not be returning.

Food: hamburger severely overcooked, fried shrimp dry, baked potato lukewarm warm, sweet potato fries delicious, butter served with bread was sitting in a cup of water and spilled out onto bread Service: unenthusiastic server, never checked back to see if all was good, asked for butter and lemon but got neither, asked for bread normally served with meal and we got "oh I forgot". Ambience: nice but sure could have used a sweep up under the tables. Sadly we did not have a good experience and most likely will not eat here again.

We are so lucky to have Salt Grass as an option for restaurants in Cripple Creek now. We live in Divide and will make the trip just for this place. The service is always top notch, the food is great and fresh. Everybody is so friendly that works here, it's super refreshing! Great job, team!

I can't say enough about the experience we had this weekend. Staff was very friendly, food was cooked perfectly. Had a large group for breakfasts and Keahna's service was 5 star.... The wife and I decided to go back for dinner as we just wanted to enjoy some bar time. Nate and Codi also gave us 5 star service. They got extremely busy around dinner time, but they didn't stress and worked as a team to get drinks out. The new addition of Salt Grass really is cool. Thank you for the great experience and some laughs!

Service was so bad ordered queso dip to go waited 30mins and was handed cold queso. Nate had no customer service. I did not leave the restaurant stayed right by the bar where I ordered they never called my name nothing. Such a bad experience I will not return to the Golden Nugget Casino ever again.
