The food was decent, not the best. We both enjoyed that you could get grass-fed local beef and fresh cut fries. The green chili was OK, not terrible. Could use some more flavor but not bad. We had the fried pickles, which looked frozen but not terrible either. I really appreciate places that make their own batter and fried foods, would rather not the frozen products. Stopped in on our way home, not expecting much, and boy were we happy when we left. Great flavorful food, so fresh. I had the Sante Fe bowl with chicken, and my husband had the Cajun pasta bowl (which was creamy and delicious). Couldn't help myself and had to get a piece of cheesecake for the road. Happy fat girl, we will be back and go the extra drive when coming to Alamosa for this top notch grub! 😋
