The food was amazing however all the prices on the menus given to us were less than what we were charged. We were not told that there would be discrepancies in the pricing. We started off by ordering agua frescas and after listing all the flavor options I asked if we could mix flavors and she said yes of course and did not mention a $2 upcharge to do so but still charged us. Didn’t say a side of jalapeños would be an upcharge. She seemed hesitant to give us another round of chips and salsa for a group of 4 that waited almost an hour for our food because it took her so long to come around and actually take our order. Even though we were the only table in the whole entire restaurant. When she did come back she brought a significantly smaller bowl. When it was the time for a check we wanted to split it into two as we had two couples and she said she couldn’t remember who got what and we had to walk through the splitting process with her for an additional 5 minutes. Did I mention we were the only table in the whole entire restaurant. She also didn’t tell us that gratuity was included. I understand when it’s large groups or a busy restaurant but this was unnecessary. When we brought up the price issue she shrugged it off as well it’s a couple dollars here a couple dollars there as if it wasn’t an issue. Her name on the check is Nairobi. 10/10 would not recommend. If you do want to try the amazing food I would 100% call it for pick up and clarify what the actual prices are. Very disappointing experience.

It was a great experience going to this restaurant. The atmosphere is so relaxing you get to enjoy the authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything is made from scratch. We got the pleasure to chat with the chef. He is very committed to rescue the original recipes from Oaxaca. I really recommend the pipian, on the first bite I was in love with their food. Also we try the flan with rice pudding and 10 out of 10. Visit them next time you come to Denver.

We stopped in on a whim since we live nearby, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Our server Nairobi was wonderful and attentive and our food arrived quickly.
The new menu is absolutely phenomenal. Pork pastor with pineapple purée? 11/10. Every single dish we tried was incredible.
The flan was next-level. You can truly taste the difference in their desserts, everything from the flan to the ice cream is made in-house.
We’ve officially found our new favorite neighborhood spot and will be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

I wish I had taken pictures before I ate. The presentation of the food was beautifully done. Most of the group had tacos. The pork belly tacos were fantastic. The homemade tortillas were so good I could have just eaten them and been happy. I would have liked more non-alcoholic options but my dinner mates really enjoyed the margaritas. The waitress Nairobie was awesome and everyone was very friendly. We all agreed we would go back.

What an incredible experience! My wife and I walked over on a whim for some dinner and were blown away by the taste and the hospitality. Nairobie was the best and so attentive. And the flan… wow. It wasn’t just a flan that’s all I’ll say. It was hands down the best dessert. You must go! It wasn’t busy but it should be!!
