Y’all, you need to try their food—it’s amazing! Great service, fair prices, and a clean place. I had the Melhas and Red Tibsi, and my friend and I had a great time. Even on weekends, they serve at the bar. Shoutout to the waiters Luwam and Fortuna—come check it out and enjoy

While I’m not a connoisseur of Ethiopian food, I’ve had it many times—enough to k ow the difference between excellent and not-so-good. And at 5-Star Cafe, the food was fresh and yummy and clean. Literally everything I tried was great: the lentils, the salad, the cabbage dish, the beef tips, the greens, the yellow split peas, the injira, and more. I’m DEFINITELY going back for more! I love that there are meal options with eggs, which I look forward to trying next time. Their hours are generous, 7-days a week and 8am to 9pm (but I recommend you verify this before you go). My only suggestions for improvements would be to have updated menus with all the offerings listed (for example, their veggie combo wasn’t on the menu), and the music was playing too loudly.

First time ordering from here called in for pickup. It was hard to hear the person on the other end cause the music was loud. When I arrived no one said anything just stares, the server was impolite and seemed impatient. Great food though, served hot and was fulfilling.
