Unbelievable cook on incredible steaks. Highly recommend the current Muse Australian, and the wet aged NY.
If you can request Mack, do it! He was spectacular.

I’ve gifted people to this restaurant for our office Secret Santa for years because it came up as one of the top steakhouses in Denver — and it really is known for its upscale menu of prime USDA steaks, seafood, and wine in a classic steakhouse setting.
This past year, my coworker went to use a $200 gift card I’d given them… and there was no balance on the card when they tried to pay. I reached out to the restaurant, and the manager handled the situation with so much ease and professionalism — looking up the issue and getting it resolved promptly without any attitude or hassle. That kind of customer service really stands out, especially in a high-end restaurant where expectations are already high.
The food and atmosphere here are excellent (great steaks, thoughtful sides, excellent wine list), but what really impressed me was how quickly and professionally the team handled the gift card problem. Highly recommended not just for a great steak dinner but for the way they take care of their guests.

It’s worth the price! We ordered two ribeye steaks and noted they were cooked to perfection. The mash potatoes were delicious and the calamari was the best I’ve ever tasted. Our server Adam was very nice and informative. I loved how they added a special touch to the menu/table as we celebrated my husband’s birthday. It was our first time but surely not our last, 801 😋

We had a large party of 12, Kate was fabulous, food was superior, ordered the porterhouse cooked perfect on ny strip side disappointed with the filet side. The wedge was excellent. The bar tender spent time to introduce me to 1414 Tequilla, it was smooth and warm, great finish. Thanks. Everyone had a good time and everyone took the leftovers home.

Delicious menu served by genuinely nice and knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed appetizers to dessert but the steak was the show stealer. Highly recommend getting a couple chopped up to enjoy the different flavors and tenderness. Would certainly go back next time in the Denver area to try more of the menu. 5 star.

We experienced a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding. It's not inexpensive but that should be expected. Overall wonderful experience.
The service from our waiter Adam was truly amazing with suggestions on an aperitif to serve with the FoieGras... To making it right with the kitchen when they made mistake on the order he truly when above and beyond. His energy totally turned the evening around into one of the best and I love this restaurant.
801 Chophouse is hands down our favorite steakhouse. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. I am not a huge red meat eater and will almost always order fish at other steakhouses, but not 801. I will not pass up the opportunity for an amazing steak.

The waitress did not pay good attention, she did not return to the table even though the place was not full, the two things I needed I had to ask someone else. In addition to the fact that I told her to charge the card an amount and the other was in cash, she didn't even listen and charged everything to the card
it was good food and the server was amazing, everything was good but the desert was not good it was a bit eggy.

Our server paid good attention and even offered to let us see the meat aging cooler. It was great to meet the chef and chat with him.
If you are near Cherry Creek shopping area, please stop here for a lovely time! It's everything you could want in a steakhouse that serves great seafood and has in house dry and wet aged beef. Happy hour is 4 to 6, and you can happily dine on that. Ask for Jen!

Our server Shanna was excellent. Second time she has been our server. She is just the right amount of attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and wines. Crab cake and ribeyes my wife and I had were cooked perfectly.
801 is always a great time. They were able to accommodate our request to sit in a booth at the bar. This is always prime real estate especially during Sunday nights when football is on. We had an offer for a free bottle of wine and when we presented the proof on the app our server (Shana - I believe) helped us pick a moderately priced pinot noir. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they decorated the table which was a nice touch. We like to split things and the staff is always very helpful. 801 is not cheap but we love it for a celebration.
801 is my favorite restaurant in Denver. Jules, the manager, Nick the bartender, Jamie, Matt & Aiden the waitstaff in the bar are all phenomenal. The food is always amazing and I never regret going. Love 801 and if I could give them 6 stars I would!
