Food truck was at Zuni tonight and I cannot believe the way that we were treated. He was extremely aggressive with us about how much we tipped, and said he was going to make our portion size small because of it. Then he dared us to go to the restaurant and tip like that. We weren’t being served, so 20% is not standard at a food truck. Then, we never got our food and waited almost 45 minutes for it before we noticed him closing up the truck completely and turned the truck on about to drive away. We ran up to the truck and had to stop him and ask if he was gonna give us our food and said “yeah, I guess I’ll give you your food.” It was freezing cold when we got it so I think his intention was to drive away until we stopped him. Also, he claimed he is the owner (which I hope wasn’t true based on his behavior).

We hosted a graduation partly at our home during the afternoon after the ceremony. Adobo provided a menu that both our high school graduates and parents loved! Both savory and healthy options were provided to suit everyone. Blaine was responsive and terrific to work with. We loved having all of the confusion and food delivery outside by the food truck while parents mingled in the back yard and young adults played frisbee in the field. We have already had friends reach out to us for Adobo’s information so they can plan their graduation parties next spring. I highly recommend the Adobo food truck for your next party.
We hired Adobo to cater our wedding at City Park Pavilion. As a Filipina, it felt so special to have a Filipino food truck for our big day. From booking to tasting to the wedding day, Adobo was amazing! Communication was great and the food was even better. Adobo was able to set up their truck right next to the venue, it was easy to access and get our food. My day-of-coordinator said that the truck was a little late because access to the park/pavilion is a little tricky, but I didn’t even notice! They were cranking out our cocktail menu as soon as they pulled up. All of our guests loved the food truck and thought it was the perfect touch to our wedding.

Nick is fantastic - food is very smooth fusion - the sesame seeds on the chicken egg rice bowl were a great subtle twist - and the smoked carnitas pork - tender, moist, and just the right touch of smoke!
