I had a very unbalanced experience here. The service staff was not helpful for a larger group, making us sit at multiple tables but still forcing us to be on 1 check so they could guarantee their 20% gratuity. The food was amazing, I got the pork belly sliders and the tuna poke nachos and absolutely loved them. If I was to come back I’d order the food and a water, because while the drinks looked good, they may have been the worst cocktails I’ve ever drank in my life. I got the frozen chi chi cocktail and it was beyond terrible, and the drinks the rest of my group got ranged from barely drinkable to absolutely awful. I could only describe it as if they had let the ice used for the drink sit in the freezer untouched for 2 months, put it in dirty dishwater, and then blended it up with cheap vodka. All the flavors described were nowhere to be found, and even my very intoxicated friend, who at the time would drink anything with alcohol, said it was too awful to chug. So while I absolutely loved the food, the service and the drinks killed my overall experience.

The food tasted good, I just personally think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting. Vibes are cute if you want the experience, the drinks are TERRIBLE tasting but at least the cups they serve them in are cute. Came with a group of 7 and I kid you not, our server was very wishy washy on how checks could be split. We ended up splitting our party up into a table of 3 and a table of 4 but since our waitress had been super wishy washy in how we could split our check, we needed up putting it all on one card to reduce hassle but definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. For an automatic 20% gratuity on a party of 7 that we had to split into a 3 top and 4 top table, the experience was definitely not one I would do again. An honest review? The service staff killed the vibe with her inability to tell us what was going on and changing the story on how we could split check, and the alcoholic drinks that were supposed to pick up the vibes being absolutely terrible tasting. I’d rather lick a bar mat. At least the cups were cute

A great spot for tasty tiki drinks and clever tapas style food. It's a little tight between tables but is otherwise a great spot!

By far the coolest bar in Denver. It has such a great vibe and awesome staff. Drinks are out of this world delicious.

Only saw the outside - they closed at 9 even though all over (online, sign on window, etc) said 11Edit: the bartender came out and told us "it's a slow night so we're closing early" so the response about a private event is a bunch of baloney

Took a long time to finally come here, and it was worth the wait. The staff was awesome, the drinks were amazing, we were there super late on a Tuesday, so we didn't get to try any food so I can't review that. But the classic tiki drinks are in Happy Hour all day Tuesdays which was a pleasant surprise! We tried 3 different drinks, and I highly recommend the Long Days Coming, it was our favorite for sure. We will definitely be back again!Parking: If you are willing to walk you may find free street parking. Otherwise you will have to look for a meter.

I have had 3 negative experiences so far with this place. I always give them another chance as one of the only tiki bars around, but they continue to disappoint. I scheduled reservation a week ahead of time to meet some friends for my birthday this weekend. I just got a text the day before that they over-booked and cannot take us on, and that we wouldn't be able to walk in either as it would be too full. Don't even waste your time. Go to Electric Cure, Hell or Highwater, Jungle, or Emerald Eye instead.

I went last night with a few of my friends and we had the most amazing time. The theming and ambiance of this place are awesome! We had the steak plate, spam musubi, fries, and a punch bowl! Everything was so yummy and the punch bowl lived up to the hype! Relating to service, Coby was our server and he did such an amazing job! He was fast and offered so many suggestions. I am definitely recommending this place to everyone I know in Denver!!!

First off, walking in is in itself a treat. The ambiance is amazing it makes you feel like you're somewhere else. Thank you for putting so much attention into those details. The drinks were absolutely fresh and amazing! you can tell the difference that they did not skimp on the foundation juices. I noticed. The food was very good and exotic! We tried several dishes, and everything was a treat. The manager, who I forgot her name. Was present and active. As a food service person , this really made my day to see that everyone was working as a team. At one point, they got very busy, but they communicated that so well that we just enjoyed the drinks until the food arrived. Most places forget to talk to the tables, which avoid so many issues. Thank you! Allow a quick recap: great food, great fresh drinks, great service, and great ambiance. If you've not been here, you should you're making a mistake. Great for dates too!

I had been into Adrift before for drinks (which believe me, don't disappoint!) but this was the first time trying their food. Everything was SO good, fresh, and you could tell it was made with care. The chefs here have put a lot of thought into the dishes to bring the warmth of the islands here to snowy Denver. The shiitake mushrooms and broccolini were my favorite. I scarfed it down in record time, and wanted to order a second round! They're that good! The mushrooms were perfectly tender, and the sauce was an excellent compliment. The meatloaf was pretty good. If you're into comfort food, it'll be your jam. Not pictured, I also tried the edamame hummus. It's not your typical hummus! It's very light and refreshing, and the chips it comes with are crispy and to die for! The lemon leches cake blew my mind. I am normally not a big sweets girl, but I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever finished a piece of cake all in one sitting. The lemon is there, but not overpowering. It's also not overly sweet to the point it makes you sick. It's very balanced and light. The ambiance is like stepping into a portal to somewhere else. With blowfish lights, kitschy tiki cups, and a purple mood you can't go wrong! Wear your best Hawaiian shirt and get over there. I can't wait to come back!

Went here totally on a whim with some friends. I did not know what to expect when we walked in. But I can honestly say that we're all planning on going back. The drinks were fun, the food was wonderful (definitely recommend the poke nachos), and the service was above and beyond. We had such a blast!

Did not enjoy my experience here at all, which is unfortunate as I was really looking forward to going. From the moment we sat down, we were told they had a strict 2 hour rule, even writing our expiration time on the table. The rest of our meal, we were constantly told that it was almost time to go, and were given a last call for food and drinks almost an hour before the end time. We then asked if we could finish our drinks at the bar (keep in mind it was a snowstorm and hardly anyone else was there), and they said they would have to ask. We were told ok and two seats opened up so we moved over there. The bartender (woman) gave us a terrible look as we walked up. We told her that our server had given us permission, to which she responded “I’ll have to speak to her”. I then asked another bartender if the bar seats needed to be reserved and he said no, and that they were first come, first served. I am still not sure what the issue was? We ended up leaving immediately. It is too bad that the service is so poor, as the theme and decor were great. While I understand time constraints for dining, I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant/bar in my life. I will not be returning.
