My family and I love this restaurant. The food is healing.

We ordered fufu, egusi, goat, lamb, plantain, lamb samosa, and tomato stew. They had wonderful customer service and extremely delicious food. Everything is prepared fresh and made to order so definitely worth the wait. The lamb Samosa could use some cumin, turmeric, red onions and a little more spice. This was my first time having samosa with such flaky wrap layers I liked that addition and I can only imagine how much better it would be with the suggested ingredients. We will definitely be returning.

This place is a GEM. It breaks my heart what this government shutdown is doing to small businesses. I got peanut soup with goat. Top 5 soups I've ever had. I'm really not a soup guy. But this was BOMB. The meat was seared off so it was slightly crispy and the texture held inside the soup. There was just so much flavor operating in a flavor paradigm completely out of what I normally experience I wish all the best for this restaurant and would encourage anyone even contemplating whether to eat here to 100% dive in.

We ordered takeout through GrubHub on Yelp and even though we received a notification that our order was received and then another notification that it was ready for pickup, when we went to pickup, not only was the order not ready but the owner hadn't even noticed it. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for an order for two. The owner seemed to be the only one along with his brother managing orders and cooking and he seemed really lost and unable to handle the work. There was another guy before us who waited a total of 35 minutes and gave up and left. Another family came in and waited to order and since no one came out of the kitchen for so long, he asked the guy before us how long he'd been waiting and they also decided to leave. Once we got the food, it wasn't what we expected based on Yelp reveiws at all. It was not edible. The beef in both our dishes was way too hard. The flavors were bland. We basically threw $60 down the drain for two dishes and an appetizer. This place is way too expensive for crappy food and as for the takeout experience, the only explanation I can think of is that there are other people like the owner's wife who help run the business and when she isn't there, he can't manage?

This place is legit. The owner/manager came out and greeted me himself. I had some dietary restrictions that I wanted to steer clear of and he went above and beyond to accommodate me and make a custom dish. Honestly it was an incredible personal experience and the food was amazing. Wish I could leave more stars. This guy is doing it right.

Food was delicious. There was more than enough food. I went for lunch time and didn't want dinner. The owner was friendly and attentive but there is a wait because the food is fresh and made to order.

First time truck driver passing through. I ordered the cabbage stew with oxtail meat and white rice. I was bummed i didn't get plantains but that's ok. The food was really good. From a jamaican family i loveeeee jamaican food but this was really good. Cabbage stew was nicely flavored. Oxtails weren't bad. Cooked differently than I'm used too but good. I really enjoyed my meal.My complaint would be i hardly got any oxtails. Needed more cabbage stew. A lot of rice as expected but little meat. I forgot to order my beef patties and plantains so i will be back. Happy customer! ?

Had the lamb stew with plantains and it was delicious...definitely get a side of rice to go with it.

Food was great! Huge servings, we had more than enough so if you have a small appetite, I recommend splitting it with your partner/mate! We ordered it to go! If you’re ordering online, make sure to call and confirm. They were gracious enough to make our food when we got there...but next time we’ll remember to call ahead?

This place has gone downhill these past few months. Wait times for pick up are always underestimated; the owner will tell you 20 minutes, but when you arrive there's a good chance you'll be standing around for upwards to an hour. The quality and quantity of food has also decreased; they provide small portions considering the price. It is unfortunate as I was a regular customer for years, but I can't continue to support this business.

Im so sorry! I tried to support my people! I went there saturday, it was only 11 people in the restaurant. I placed an order of goat with jollof, plantains, and shitou. The order took over an hour to prepare, and then INSULTED ME by serving me SMOTHERED OXTAILS, as if DIS COUNTRY BWOI dont know bout no goat meat!I WONT BE BACK!

I had a very poor experience. I would not recommend this place. The service was very poor and the beef I got was cold.

I git the pepper soup and the beef was so tough and chewy. Dood was very bland, I Wasn't very impressed. The owner was nice and she samosas were good but that's about it.
