Beer was delicious got the pizza cat IPA, dog friendly and the empanada was bomb!
Beers are too expensive for what they are. Reverence next door is more creative, flavorful, and cheaper.
Was so looking forward to seeing this beautiful brewery during my visit to Denver before I leave tomorrow. Convinced my friend to drive the 25 minutes from highland area to go here only to see a sign saying they were closed. Very happy that they are closed for employee appreciation - but would have loved a heads up. could have been a very easy social media post or website pop-up.
Fun place for a beer. Love the vibe.
Great beers and good vibes. Clean.
Great brewery. Good beers. Fast and friendly service. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Nicely decorated. Flights available with 4 beers.
As far as brewery’s in Denver go, this isn’t the best. But it’s still quite good. Location is good, taproom is beautiful, and most importantly the beer is good. Thunder puppy has been a fave for years. Love the new spot, must check it out.
Had a decent beer here. There is a small comfortable lounge near the bar. I enjoyed sitting outside with my group. I would prefer a more varied beer selection. I walked up from the hospital, so no idea about the parking. Looks like street parking might be the best option.
Went there on 7/9. Bartender was extremely rude. 1 and done. Too many other cool breweries around to deal w that
So many good beer options here. Get the hyper jam while you can if you're into sours. It packs a punch and is on POINT!

The location of this brewery is stellar, in the old coffee and bike shop on 17th and Lafayette. The beers are good, nothing jumping right out at this point. Service was lack luster for a brewery, especially when Hamburger Mary’s, 1903 and Humboldt Kitchen are all neighbors—the beer tenders should definitely do more socializing with the clients, especially at the bar.
This brewery is underestimated. Super friendly staff and very great IPAs. Lovely place!
Great selection of beers and chill vibes. What else do you want in a neighborhood brewery?
We went on Sunday evening to enjoy a few drinks around 7:30. We were informed upon ordering that it was last call since the bar closed at 8:00 (Google says they close at 9:00 on Sundays). No problem, we could finish in that time and head somewhere else if we wanted. We tried to ignore the snarky comment from the bartender who said something about making sure we finished in 20 minutes. We were finishing our drinks when the bartender came by and said, "Drink up everyone, we closed at 8:00." It was literally 8:04. I understand wanting to get out on time but we found that incredibly rude. She clearly had a boyfriend or a friend waiting there on the patio for her to close. We finished our drinks and went over to Reverence. On our walk back home at 9:45, the bartender who was so rude to us was STILL inside with her boyfriend/friend having a drink and talking. This is not a way to treat customers, and it was incredibly off putting. Why have subpar drinks and rude service when you could walk a few blocks down to Reverence for amazing beer and super friendly staff? I would definitely not recommend Alpine Dog for the sassy, snarky service alone.
The beer is great and the bartender who works on Sunday nights has always made me feel super welcome, respected, and treated me like a true individual.
