The food was great. The NY strip was cooked perfect. It was flavorful. The fries we order with it were also great. Good crisp and perfectly salted. The bison burger was good. It was cooked to order and had decent flavor. The atmosphere was a little darker that I would have preferred. However it is also a bar and it was 7pm when we ate there. So that is to be expected. I would recommend it and I would go back.

I was on my way to another place but I was starving when I stopped to look at the menu. The green chile bison burger pulled me in but is it heresy to say the truffle froiws with scratch ranch and ketchup as well as the sweet chili brussel sprouts were even more satisfying? Seriously, if you are in downtown Denver near the convention center, you should eat here. Full stop.

Popped in for solo lunch on a Saturday. Really enjoyed finding a locally owned spot in the sea of chain restaurants downtown. My wedge salad and bison birria tacos were excellent. Great lineup of local draft beers and lovely service from Heather behind the bar.
