The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The cocktail was creative and refreshing. I will be back for more! Thank you.

Such a cute spot! Came in here with my partner while traveling in Denver and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Amanda was our bartender and she was so sweet and helpful. I'm not a huge drinker so I appreciated how patient and thorough she was making sure I found something I liked! The music was great, drinks were delicious. We had a great time, will definitely be back.

Hand crafted drinks, super fun (and cute) atmosphere, knowledgeable + kind bar staff. Pictured is the Guava Malo, very tasty. I also ordered the Mai Tai, and it was one of the best Mai Tai's I've had in a long time. Probably because they use all fresh ingredients.
The place itself isn't huge, so if there's more than two of you attending, it'd be a good idea to make a reservation.

Great spot for drinks before dinner, will be back.

Great well lit but chill spot that immediately transports you into a Tropical Paradise full of fun Island Style cocktails. You feel like you’re in a Luxurious Hotel’s lobby bar and the vibe is just so different to other places in Denver. A great spot for an early evening cocktail or an after dinner cocktail. They also had great fun mocktails as well!

The only bummer is that when you leave, you don’t hear the waves break and you aren’t stepping onto the same!

Highly recommend for those well needed Staycation Vibes or quick escape!

Can’t imagine how magical this place would be in the Winter! Will have to try that for sure!!!

With FIVE people working in a nearly dead bar - minus people actually sitting on the “patio” the bartender didn’t even look at us one time.
After we stacked our plates, sipping water thought a straw in an empty drink, and having our cards sit on the bar for 15 min, we had to ask a waitress for our check.
She didn’t bring it. Yikes and we had to ask another random server / bartender / manager (?) /NPC for the bill.

Oh and a 20% gratuity is added without telling you.

At one point my friend and I thought we were wearing invisible cloaks. Haha. Anyway not worth $80 for guacamole and whatever that “ceviche” was

We stopped by Ay Papi on Saturday, July 12 for some drinks—which were good but a bit pricey. We went mainly for the Latin vibe, especially with a name like Ay Papi, but the music was disappointing. There wasn’t much Latin music, and the playlist felt random, which threw off the atmosphere.

It’s a cool-looking spot, but if you’re going for that Latin energy, you might be let down unless they update the music.

They were able to accommodate a last minute reservation for 7. Delicious food and drinks! Energetic crowd and music started later in the evening.

Great time, the music and old fashion brings me back everytime. Highly suggest getting there early for a bar seat.

After a prior incident where we arrived for a reservation made through OpenTable only to find the restaurant closed, we decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve.

Although OpenTable consistently shows availability for every time slot, upon arrival, we were informed there would be a wait of over an hour. This discrepancy between availability and actual wait times was frustrating and misleading.

Moreover, the service was subpar. The staff was notably unwelcoming and inattentive, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, basic courtesy and acknowledgment of patrons are essential to providing a positive dining experience.

Additionally, the menu online did not align with the options available in the restaurant. Two items I had specifically planned to order were no longer offered, though they remained listed on the in-person menu. This inconsistency suggests a lack of proper management and attention to detail.

Based on these repeated issues, I regrettably will not be returning. There are many other dining establishments in the area that prioritize customer experience and operational efficiency. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

What a great surprise this was. Having never been there before, we were lured in by the name. At the door, we were greeted by Connor, who sealed the deal by making us laugh and guiding us to a few perfect seats at the bar. We came for drinks, ended up adding dessert, and left with a new go-to spot every time we are in Cherry Creek.
