My husband and I were married on September 11, 2025, at the Ashley Ridge by Wedgewood venue, an all-inclusive facility. As part of our package, we utilized Azucar Bakery for our wedding cake. The initial consultation and design process were seamless, and we communicated our desire for a semi-naked, three-tier cake with accompanying cupcakes. While we were highly satisfied with the flavors and the overall effort put into the cake, the final design did not fully align with our expectations. Specifically, the semi-naked aesthetic was not adequately achieved, with minimal exposed cake visible. Additionally, the cupcake arrangement did not meet our request for a mixed display, as the flavors were segregated. Overall, we rate the experience an 8/10. The owner's service was exceptional; however, the visual execution of the cake did not fully reflect our vision.

BEST WEDDING CAKE EVER! Our tasting was a blast, and the cake? UNREAL. We got so many compliments about how it was “the best wedding cake” our guests had ever had. (Still wishing I had more than a few bites, but the dance floor was calling!) We will make sure to make a stop every time we come into town!

Everything is so delicious from Azucar! We usually get the alfajores which are absolutely the best I’ve ever had - melt in your mouth! We got fingertips cupcakes for our son’s birthday and they were so moist (cream cheese frosting inside and buttercream on top). James was very helpful during the ordering process and very flexible even with my short notice order. I love this place!!

My husband bought me a cake from here for my birthday last year and it was amazing so I knew I had to get my baby shower cake here as well. While they aren’t great at responding via email (I recommend going in person), they made my cake dream come true. I gave them a few inspiration pics, sent them an image which they printed for the cake and gave them creative freedom and it was even better than expected. It not only looked beautiful but it tasted delicious. We got the white cake with whipped cream and fruit filling, highly recommend! It was worth the custom price!

Every time I come to this bakery I am disappointed, the customer service is really bad and the lady is rude to customers, they won’t take your order even if you go weeks before and don’t have many options for cakes. My experience there was bad even I come over here for over 5 years to support local business, I was always treated bad and indifference from the staff as if they don’t care for your business, even I am a recurring customer they make me pay for the bathroom at a minimum of $5 since the lowest price they have is $3 you have to buy 2 of them and they still ask you to tip them.

I can't say enough good things about Azucar! We used them for our wedding cake, as they were a preferred vendor through our venue. Every cake we tried at our tasting was amazing, making it difficult to choose flavors. We ended up getting a 3-tier cake, cupcakes, and tiramisu. They were all a huge hit at the wedding, especially the tiramisu which was the best I've ever eaten. I only wish we had more leftovers! The cake was also exactly like the inspiration photo I shared with James, and I was amazed at how it turned out. Highly recommend.

We received our wedding cake and cupcakes from Azucar and they were wonderful to work with! Easy process, accommodated many flavor requests, and absolutely beautiful- not to mention, so so tasty!! All of our cupcakes were gone by the end of the night. Great service!

Did our cake tasting and selections for our wedding. The cakes were so good we almost forgot to get a picture. We enjoyed our experience, we were given a good amount of privacy to discuss our opinions. Then we received great consolation for our selection. Looking forward to seeing it all come to life on our big day.
Additional notes we have not yet tried their typical bakery items. But they looked delicious and they had multiple people coming in who seemed liek return customers. Will try more next trip.

Azucar Bakery was amazing to work with for our wedding, from the initial tasting all the way to day-of coordination. They made everything so easy and straightforward — I barely had to do anything besides tell them what I wanted, and they nailed it every time! Even with a last-minute request the week of the wedding, I sent them a picture of the cake design I had in mind, and they managed to make it look exactly like the picture — I was so impressed!
I had heard that most couples end up with leftover wedding cake to take home, especially since we also had a dessert table, but we didn’t have a single piece left. It was a huge hit, and people couldn’t get enough! The cakes were absolutely delicious, and I’m so grateful for how perfect everything turned out. My only regret is that we didn’t save a slice for ourselves to enjoy later!
