Azucar Bakery was amazing to work with for our wedding, from the initial tasting all the way to day-of coordination. They made everything so easy and straightforward — I barely had to do anything besides tell them what I wanted, and they nailed it every time! Even with a last-minute request the week of the wedding, I sent them a picture of the cake design I had in mind, and they managed to make it look exactly like the picture — I was so impressed!
I had heard that most couples end up with leftover wedding cake to take home, especially since we also had a dessert table, but we didn’t have a single piece left. It was a huge hit, and people couldn’t get enough! The cakes were absolutely delicious, and I’m so grateful for how perfect everything turned out. My only regret is that we didn’t save a slice for ourselves to enjoy later!

I must share my disheartening experience at Azucar Bakery. I had been anticipating their dulce de leche cheesecake, but imagine my shock when I discovered a bug in it. To make matters worse, there was also a strand of hair in the food. Not only was this extremely off-putting, but it also raised serious concerns about their cleanliness. Additionally, I witnessed some distressing unprofessional behavior in the back of the kitchen. I find it difficult to recommend this bakery given my unsatisfactory experience. I would give this place a 0 if I could

We ordered a cake for our wedding with our Wedgwood package and it was not the cake that me and my partner chose . The style was nothing that we discussed the flavors were definitely nothing we had discussed and we were charged $50 for black fondant but black icing was used instead this was horrible to see on our wedding day the cake is worse than a Walmart cake . Not sure if they even listened during our taste testing even tho I sent pictures! I’m highly annoyed and disappointed! This was our special day and the cake was ugly !!! Where was the words we choose for our cake ? Or the design ? Did you loose all of that and just do a black heart cake . Very mad

We had a great tasting with Azucar but ultimately I was disappointed with the outcome of our very simple and small wedding cake. The font was incredibly sloppy, and looked unprofessional. For the price of the cake and delivery, we were surprised and disappointed. Otherwise it tasted good and the frosting was nice. Not sure what happened with the writing.

I hate to leave this review as this place was our family’s go to spot but recently, when trying to place an order for my daughter’s birthday cake, the communication was NOT it. I’ve tried to call them endlessly and emailed about the different cakes and getting invoice to me but it has yet to happen. I live far, so it’s inconvenient to go there to place the order when it can easily be done over the phone and email BUT THEY DO NOT RESPOND. Sent in a two cake quotes and was quoted the same thing even tho one of the cakes didn’t even have any fondant figurines/designs. I have an email stating that for those two specific things it’ll be more but the other cake I requested a quote on was very plain and simple… Money grabbing company. I’ve talked to a few of the staff there and some are nice and the other are just plain rude. The costumer service/communication is horrendously terrible. I recommended this place to many friends and family and not utterly regret it as they have had the same issues. Parking there is a very, VERY tight squeeze plus getting out of there can be a nightmare, more than this place already is. Don’t waste your time dealing with these people. The flavors are good but not good enough to keep enduring with such a problematic business. Take your money elsewhere.

We only needed a small cutting cake for our wedding, because our venue provided a dessert table, but we still wanted the whole experience. Our tasting with Azucar was so much fun and everything tasted amazing. We picked out our wedding cake together and then I went back to the bakery to order a surprise Groom's cake. The whole process was really easy. Azucar delivered and set up both cakes on our wedding day and everything went so smoothly. We plan to go back every year on our anniversary for a slice!
