I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the menu is fantastic. You can order from your table with QR. Loved the Din Sun style that allows for sharing/small plates. The food is fantastic. Flavorful, spiced, and delicious. Excellent service and fun staff. I really like the hole in the wall type atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The food was incredible. I really needed that. It was our anniversary and we had such great service. It was a lot louder than my husband and I are used to. It's not the establishments fault for sure. We work in the customer service industry also, ours is just a little different. The staff was great, and it was even really cool to chat at least with the other couple next to us. We had a total blast, and my left overs I ate maybe an hour after we got back to our hotel. Also the bathrooms were nice. But we loved the whole expirence all the way.Dietary restrictions: I have an extreme allergy to strawberries and our server was very conscientious of everything I had questions about and made sure to double check. I know how taxing that can be but she did such a wonderful job about communicating if there might be any concerns. I wish I could remember her name. She was so sweet.

We've been to Bao Brewhouse a number of times and always quite enjoyed it. I can only review the vegetarian dishes, which are very good although there aren't many on the menu. But, they're very good! Mushroom dumplings are great (and I regularly make baozi at home so I'm a dumpling snob.) And even though the menu doesn't tell you, they'll add tofu to the veg fried rice which is a game changer. Cocktails are great -- tasty and interesting. And some good beers on draft. The "mains" are big: the two of us share two appetizers and the fried rice (with tofu) and always have leftovers to bring home. They had a total kitchen failure last night that ended up giving us pork instead of tofu on the fried rice. Our server Ashley and the manager Taylor took care of it immediately and gracefully and comped us the fried rice dish. And even before that, they took great care of us like always!Taylor told us they're about to introduce a full vegan menu (which really should be a no-brainer in a Chinese-themed place since it's so close to veg friendly already). So, we're looking forward to that on our next visit! The only downside about sitting upstairs is that the music is really loud. Like hard to hear the servers loud. Does add to the funky and fun atmosphere but makes us reluctant to bring friends of "a certain age" with us since they won't be able to handle it. It's fine for the two of us but wouldn't work with a group of our friends. We like Bao Brewhouse! And plan to keep visiting!Vegetarian options: The veg options are currently quite limited: a good hot&sour soup, mushroom dumplings, egg rolls, and mushroom fried rice. All of these are very good. The manager tells us they're about to introduce a full veg menu. One of the main pieces of customer feedback they've gotten is the need for more veg choices. I'm looking forward to that!

We ordered duck noodle soup, pork belly bao, big on the pig, and bao salad. The service is good, and the atmosphere is ok, but we are extremely disappointed in the food. I know salt is an important ingredient in Chinese cuisine, but this restaurant put too much salt in all their food. You cannot taste anything but salt. Is the restaurant trying to hide that their food is not fresh?

Went in last night and it took us 35 minutes sitting at the bar to recieve our mushroom dumplings which were SEVERELY undercooked. The dough was mushy, the filling tasted bitter, exactly like uncooked garlic + onion and the mushrooms were so bitter its as if they were rotten and even after going to eat other food the taste of those putrid dumplings stayed in my mouth until I brushed my teeth before bed. Now this morning both my boyfriend and I are and experiencing horrendous Diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps. 0/10 do not recommend.

Frozen dinner for a lot more money. Service was great but when you charge the premium price for the food, they should at least try to make it taste better. I'm sure it was hard to do since they were all pre-made fronze food you get delivered.

Overall great experience but can get packed fast!! Need to make a reservation before you go or you won't get a seat. The food was great and prepared very well. It was just a long line even with a reservation.

Really great dinner in the taproom tonight! It's convenient that you can sit wherever and order from a QR code. The waiter doesn't take your order but stopped by to refill our water and check on us which was nice-- we didn't struggle to flag anyone down. The music wasn't too loud so it's good for conversation but still vibeeeey. Really Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Vegan hot and sour soup was super good & not spicy if that's a concern for you. really good portions for the price. I was so full after all the brussel sprouts (so good) that I could barely eat half of my noodle dish-- drunken empress. I really liked the taste especially with the pork belly i added, but the noodles were a little tough for me, like I really had to chew. Not a big deal though just something I noticed! We got the chun-li & the dancing dragon cocktails and both were so good. I would definitely come back here just for some drinks-- it's casual and fairly priced ($13 cocktails isn't bad in Denver!) Overall had a great experience and will return, especially since the upstairs is apparently a whole different vibe & menu.

Bao was great! We had a few amazing dumplings and the short rib noodle plate and it was cooked to perfection. Our server Skylor was amazing, explained the whole menu really well and gave great service. 10/10 will be back!
