I'm here pretty frequently because I work close by. I order the same sandwich every time. It's delicious, but about 30-40% of the time it's either missing an ingredient or otherwise not made right. For example, today there were red peppers on the sandwich instead of roasted tomatoes. I get it, they look very similar, but it's not the same. The problems aren't immediately obvious until I start eating the sandwich back at my office, so it hasn't been worth it to go back to Yampa and complain, especially since they get really busy around lunchtime. It's just disappointing. I'm hoping the employees will pay a little more attention in the future.

Edit 6/17/25: it happened again, so I'm dropping a star from the review and I'm out. I don't like giving bad reviews but making a menu item with all of the (correct) ingredients seems like the bare minimum to ask for.

Perfect example of the new tipping culture. Went in for a to-go breakfast sandwich and did not tip. I knew that was a problem right away because of the 5 second glare I received. I was the only customer they had at that time and it took 18 minutes for them to complete my order. As soon as I walked out the door I definitely heard them say should have tipped. Breakfast sandwich was missing ingredients and nothing like I've had in the past. Save yourself the headache and go to corporate deli next door.

I get the Pilgrim sandwich (on the main menu) every time I go to Yampa. Today I was told they were out of the ingredients to make this sandwich, without even an apology. Just a shrug.

Funny how multiple great visits will ensure guests keep coming back, but one bad visit will lose them. It’s not like Yampa is cheap, either. Plenty of other shops downtown. Sad!

Jacob at Yampa made my day better. Best customer service & great salads!

Customer service is a miss at this location. I ordered before my two colleagues , who then got their order before me. My order was straight off the menu so nothing was different. When I asked about my order I was told “5 more minutes”. 5 minutes + later and several more orders coming before mine, I asked again and the answer was “I don’t know what to tell you.” Finally got the order and the sour employee mumbled some deragatory comment under his breath. One bad experience I’ll chalk it up to the day, third time however I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Ordered the Turkey Trailhead as a wrap. Just got done eating this dry a** sandwich. I added Chipotle Mayo to it. The sandwich was dry. They didn’t put the Honey Dijon mustard it comes with or mayo I added and paid for. They put a bunch of onions in it. I didn’t ask for extra onions. Could have just went to subway and got a sandwich, SMH

This place has become my new favorite sandwich spot. I order the BYO TURKEY and it is made to perfection every time. The brioche bun is fresh and toasted to perfection. The turkey is delicious and I love the balsamic vinaigrette. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the location is clean. I highly recommend Yampa Sandwich Company.

There hot sandwiches are something else. No need for other places like Snarf’s or Jersey Mikes. Will be coming here from now on. Dennis helped me out and his service was amazing! He made sure I got everything I needed!

I ordered the dolomite and I wanted to add some extra extras like peppers and jalapeños And when I got home, I opened up my sandwich, and it was literally just meat and peppers and jalapeños. Those were just supposed to be extras completely disappointed with whoever made my sandwich.

get lunch somewhere else - this place charges $15 for a flimsy roast beef sandwich with a kraft single slapped on (not what I expected when I ordered “cheddar”). Overall low quality ingredients and you can definitely do better with your money.

Was excited to eat here at 8:30am on Sat 11/30 and it was completely closed. Not a light on or soul in sight. Sign on door said open 8am-3pm Sat and nothing about being closed for Thanksgiving or anything.
Very disappointing.

11/10 sandwich spot. Visiting from out of town and Jacob and Dennis made us feel right at home. Good spot to hit when you're visiting. Sandwiches were great but the service was absolutely incredible. Shoutout to the crew that hooked it up today!

Stopped in for the first time. Ordered an egg sandwich, and the eggs were ice cold.

It was MID after it was warmed.

I ordered the Cuban and there was hardly any meat on my sandwich. It was bread and sauce. The service was extremely slow. Very disappointing. I had been there a few months ago and it was amazing, so definitely dropping the ball.
