I accidentally ordered online to the Lodo location, but the staff were very understanding and helped me out. So grateful!

The sandwiches looked great but weren’t as flavorful as I expected. They were good and prepared well. The service was efficient. The overall atmosphere felt like a nice, clean sandwich shop. If you need a bite and are in downtown, Yampa is a good option.

So glad to find this sandwich shop, originally from Steamboat, right in downtown Denver. The service was quick and friendly and the sandwich was delicious.

I just went there cause it’s one of the very sandwich shops in the area that’s open on a Sunday.
The breakfast burrito was delicious and the girl behind the counter super friendly.
Thumbs up!

My partner and I have eaten at Yampa a half dozen times, and every experience has been great. The staff is always super friendly, the sandwiches are delicious, and there's ample seating so finding a table has never been tough.
Great product, great staff, great experience - 10/10. Can't wait to go back!

I came into this establishment this past Saturday afternoon for pride weekend for the first time. I was looking forward to finally trying this spot as a local here. Two guys were working and no one acknowledged me upon entering.
I stood in line right at the register as there was no one else in line. Both of the guys working approached either the computer directly in front of or sandwich station near me MULTIPLE times and still didnt Say hi or be right with you. I waited about 6 minutes before i decided to go ahead and leave since it was like i didn't exist to begin with. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I'm here pretty frequently because I work close by. I order the same sandwich every time. It's delicious, but about 30-40% of the time it's either missing an ingredient or otherwise not made right. For example, today there were red peppers on the sandwich instead of roasted tomatoes. I get it, they look very similar, but it's not the same. The problems aren't immediately obvious until I start eating the sandwich back at my office, so it hasn't been worth it to go back to Yampa and complain, especially since they get really busy around lunchtime. It's just disappointing. I'm hoping the employees will pay a little more attention in the future.
Edit 6/17/25: it happened again, so I'm dropping a star from the review and I'm out. I don't like giving bad reviews but making a menu item with all of the (correct) ingredients seems like the bare minimum to ask for.
Perfect example of the new tipping culture. Went in for a to-go breakfast sandwich and did not tip. I knew that was a problem right away because of the 5 second glare I received. I was the only customer they had at that time and it took 18 minutes for them to complete my order. As soon as I walked out the door I definitely heard them say should have tipped. Breakfast sandwich was missing ingredients and nothing like I've had in the past. Save yourself the headache and go to corporate deli next door.

I get the Pilgrim sandwich (on the main menu) every time I go to Yampa. Today I was told they were out of the ingredients to make this sandwich, without even an apology. Just a shrug.
Funny how multiple great visits will ensure guests keep coming back, but one bad visit will lose them. It’s not like Yampa is cheap, either. Plenty of other shops downtown. Sad!

Jacob at Yampa made my day better. Best customer service & great salads!
Customer service is a miss at this location. I ordered before my two colleagues , who then got their order before me. My order was straight off the menu so nothing was different. When I asked about my order I was told “5 more minutes”. 5 minutes + later and several more orders coming before mine, I asked again and the answer was “I don’t know what to tell you.” Finally got the order and the sour employee mumbled some deragatory comment under his breath. One bad experience I’ll chalk it up to the day, third time however I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Ordered the Turkey Trailhead as a wrap. Just got done eating this dry a** sandwich. I added Chipotle Mayo to it. The sandwich was dry. They didn’t put the Honey Dijon mustard it comes with or mayo I added and paid for. They put a bunch of onions in it. I didn’t ask for extra onions. Could have just went to subway and got a sandwich, SMH
This place has become my new favorite sandwich spot. I order the BYO TURKEY and it is made to perfection every time. The brioche bun is fresh and toasted to perfection. The turkey is delicious and I love the balsamic vinaigrette. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the location is clean. I highly recommend Yampa Sandwich Company.
