This was horrible. 2.5 hours to get our food. Food was overly vinegary. The Injera was ice cold. Not going back.

3 stars because we did not get the food. (I reserve one star for actively bad food)

I called for takeout and the guy at the restaurant said 30 minutes. My bf showed up 35 minutes later and it was not ready. He waited 30 minutes AFTER arriving and they said they were still preparing it.

Hope to come back and try dining in, as all the other reviews look good. But would not recommend ordering takeout.

Also- I think the menu online is old as they do not offer kitfo.

Out of azifa. Food quality is not as good as it used to be. Came by once and closed because there was no food. Don't have credit card systems up and are ready for clients, but use some phone system. Hoping it gets better.

The food was okay. After the meal I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. I was disgusted to see about a dozen roaches there. My kids and I quickly left.

Worst Ethiopian restaurant I’ve been to!! I ordered out 50 dollars of food and injera had bad mold all over it. Not even just mold that started, MOLD has been on there for weeks! Food definitely not fresh. Probably sits out for days and reheated. Where do I post pictures on here? I would like to share!

The food here is excellent, but the service is definitely lacking. Had a delicious Ethiopian meal with some friends here recently and loved all of the dishes that we tried. I'd particularly recommend the Doro Tibs and Zizil tibs alongisde the 7 veggie sampler. The injera itself is fantastic on top of the great main dishes. The only misstep was the Honey Wine--it looks like it's hosue made (Came in a carafe) and no one at our table found it enjoyable.

Compared to the food, the service was extremely bad. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and had to call over the server when we wanted to order, get refills, get a check, etc. The server never checked on us of their own accord. Frequently the server wasn't even visible and was hanging out in the back, but when they did come out to the front of house, they spent most of their time focused on their phone.

We visited on moderately cool evening, but the restaurant iteself was very warm. The lights were off the entire time (maybe in an attempt to keep the place cool?), but propping open a door to get some airflow would go a long way. Additionally, the bathroom is pretty gross. Floors and walls are dirty, a couple members of our party spotted bugs in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser is laying on it's side, and the soap available on the sink is dish soap and not hand soap.

Overall the food was so incredibly delicious that I will give this place four stars, but there's a lot of work that needs to be done with providing service and a hospitable atmosphere.

Hey!! This is a wonderful restaurant, and I stumbled upon it looking for authentic Ethiopian food. Everything is fresh, and I come here from Broomfield at least twice a month. Come try it and tell people that you know, because I’m so enthusiastic about its consistency and high quality. Love this place!

CON ARTIST!!!

Got scammed. Me and 3 others ordered 4 plates and the brought out a sampler plate for all of us and claimed that was our meal.

We paid nearly 90 dollars for one large sampler. They have no way of taking payment in person you have to surrender your personal details and card for them to charge.

The service is probably the worst I have ever had, and the restaurant itself is filthy and falling apart.

Save your self the money and headache and find a more established restaurant that treat both locals and tourists with the same respect.

If this is your first time they will shake you down. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

I’ve been here twice. The first time I had a vegetarian plate and it was fine. The second and last time, I ordered a meat sampler. Both of the meat portions (beef and lamb, I think) were almost inedibly tough and gristly. I’ve had much better Ethiopian food in the neighborhood.

Very authentic food, and super friendly atmosphere. A must.

Vegetarian options: Huge vegetarian selection. Ethiopian orthodox do not eat meat before Easter and so have a big selection in most restaurants and it is phenomenal.
