I really wanted to Iike this place because it's the only bubble tea place near me. The king of all bubble tea shops, Kung Fu Tea, is way far south and I just can't get over there very much. I have tried two different flavors here, the taro and the Thai tea, and I drink my bubble teas frozen. Both of these flavors are supposed to be milky, however, here they not only lack any kind of milkiness to them, they were actually quite flavorless and very WATERY. No sweetness, just absolutely no flavor. They are very colorful but that doesn't translate into flavor. Very disappointing.

I opted to go to try this Bambu instead of my usual place and was thoroughly disappointed. We ordered a smashed avocado and passionfruit juice with lycée popping boba. The smashed avocado was not smashed but instead just cut into chunks because the avocados were not ripe at all. The passionfruit juice tasted like tap water with syrup. There was nothing refreshing about any of the drinks that we bought.

I usually go to Bambu on Federal and so I figured I would go to this location since it's close to where I live. I got a mango yogurt, which tasted like it was watered down, it didn't taste like it usually does when I go to the Federal location. They also use frozen mangos instead of fresh mangos. They messed up on my second drink as well, I got a black milk tea 75% sweet but it had zero sugar. Pretty disappointed since this location is closer to me but the drinks are terrible

Outstanding boba! Their coconut tea with boba is absolutely amazing. The coconut flavor they create is out of this world! Their mochi are also very good. I have yet to try the crepes but I have no doubt they will be good!

So happy I found this place! Plenty of selection. The ché isn’t too sweet and the German Crepes was the best crepe I have ever had! Clean, cute deco and they have free wifi. Definitely coming back!

This is a great place to get delicious and wholesome Che that is not only good for you, but also good for the soul. I have to watch my glucose levels due to Type II diabetes. I'm delighted to have sugar level options for drinks & desserts. For those who are new to Che, Bambu offers great selections of these yummy icy drinks, with many selections of beans, tapioca pearls, fruits & grass jellies. "Amazing Trio" is reminiscent of Filipino halo-halo, sans ube ice cream, condensed milk & leche flan. I will definitely be back to try out other offerings :)

AhhhH sweeet bambu you lived up to the hype. It's so nice there's an Asian dessert joint in the Berkeley / highlands area. This bambu is nestled next to Paris crepes. The layout is weird it's hella confusing inside but I will look through all these things to get my hands on a bambu. The girl inside is really nice and helpful so if you ask her for help she will guide you on the best drink choice. They have everything from Vietnamese coffee to bubble tea to the salted caramel foam top. We grabbed the taro Che and it was soooo good. Why? Because they use REAL TARO. It's thick, taroy and so damn delicious. So happy this place is in our hood and you bet you damn dollars I'll be here as a regular.
