Our food was pretty good, drinks were great. Service was terrible due to the fact they were pretty busy and there was only one server. She needed help. Also please chef take the seeds out of the chile peppers, that was a little much!

Not very spicy at all but tasty and attractive. I'll return and ask for a side of jalapeño. Very clean and friendly.

I’ve been here 2 times now. The chimichanga, quesabirria tacos, and the margaritas were excellent! The salsa had substance with real flavor and a small kick, not that tomato soup water you get most places. The waitress was an aunty with a ton of hospitality and hustle. Liked her. And we ended with sopapillas that were crispy, light, and perfect with honey.
There were a few people in there at 5pm on a Tuesday but lots of take out orders going on. I’ll be back!

I bring my family and friends here because the food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the margaritas are the absolute best. Everything is made fresh daily and they have an extensive menu. Forget the chain Mexican restaurants. I won’t go anywhere else and love their Bandito smothered burrito. On top of it, they are reasonably priced -. Evie Jamerino

Been coming here for years, quiet comforting place. The service has always been awsome. They have always been very accomdating with our group's dietary restrictions.
Been comming here for over 20+ years, and I will continue to do so as long as it remains open.
Best to get here in early afternoon, especialy on weekends. As its fairly popular and very full in the evenings.

I have eaten here for years and its always a go to, I have guests, I bring them here. My parents and I have grown to be found of this place. The food is fresh and the owner truly cares about how the food is made. He listens ro feedback and willing to work with me. I have never felt more comfort than I have than at this place.

Bandido’s — because it really does feel like you’re being robbed. The name fits perfectly: a bandit is a robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area… and after my experience this place fit that description to a T. Someone call Gordon Ramsey to close down this front for something illegal.
First off, just look at the pictures — what I got for $20 was a smothered tortilla with barely any filling. No cheese in the enchilada, no beans in the burrito, and NO chips and salsa , and no flavor. That’s basic stuff for a Mexican restaurant — how are you going to skip all of that and still charge full price?
I even saw the owner during my visit, and with maybe 12 customers in the entire place, the restaurant was already a mess. Dirty tables, chaotic service, and food that looked (and tasted) like it was thrown together in a rush — if it was made with any care at all!
Bandido’s seems more focused on making a quick buck than serving decent food & treating customers right. Save your time and your money — there are plenty of better Mexican spots in Denver. Try Hacienda Colorado nearby they seem to take pride in what they serve to this neighborhood!

We've been looking for a regular Mexican food spot near us, this just might be it. Food was delicious and service was friendly and quick (despite what other reviewers might have said). Prices were right for the market and overall we had a really good experience. Yeah the wall is bright pink, and it's in an older building, but not everywhere can be Casa Bonita... Will definitely be back, likely many more times. Highly recommend!

My favorite family owned Mexican restaurant in the Denver area. Some of my favorite things: Yolanda (she’s the best!), chile relleno, and the Jalepeno Mezcal. If you want home cooked delicious food, quiet family atmosphere, friendly service and a place that is not noisy so you can have a nice conversation, come to Bandido’s! Ask for Yolanda!

It was so bad... I took one bite of the carnitas and stopped eating. I couldn't get my fork to go through the pork. The flour tortilla was cracking apart and the meal had a horrible overcooked smell. I spent $45, paid the bill w/tip and walked out.
