This place is a total gem. I like giving money not just for great food but for the effort a restaurant puts into bettering the social and biological environment. Bang Up to the Elephant was a great place all around. I was treated so well and would go there again next time I'm in Denver.

Very flavorful food and great service. We especially enjoyed the cocktails and the various breads like the coconut bread and cornbread.
Had a great family dinner, all adults. There was a short, tolerable wait. The food and cocktails were nice. The service was prompt. I'm giving four stars because one waiter didn't seem used to being with people. My partner had a hard time finding a gluten free dish. She's really allergic. If you're avoiding gluten there are lots of good choices. We'll be back for more family dinners. I'm hoping they can fill out more GF choices.
Dietary restrictions: I'm hoping they'll have more gluten-free options in the future for people with celiac.
Went for Denver restaurant week late on a Friday night, thirty five dollars, I got the curry as my entree which I didn’t love, it just wasn’t that flavorful. The appetizers were really good and the atmosphere was very very cool, and the service was just fine!
Parking: Very limited parking especially at peak times, plan to look for parking for a while and then walk a little ways

We are not vegetarians but enjoy a vegetarian meal, occasionally. And, after tasting the food at Bang Up To The Elephant, we will be eating plant-based more often. This will be our place! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors and combinations were truly fabulous. We are already talking about when we will be going back again and bringing friends!

I finally made it here after hearing about it for a couple years! As soon as I walked in I was really impressed by the decor and beautiful atmosphere. The server was very friendly as well as the owner, who took the time to stop at our table and check in on us. We only tried a couple appetizers and drinks but they were all delicious! I definitely hope to make it back sooner than later to try more of the food. 💗

Love this gem! Really great people, creative dishes, and fun vibe. Connor our server is awesome. Everything we ordered was wonderful! The fizzies are lovely, plantains are used in very imaginative ways, and all the coconut rice dishes! 🤩 Also, yay for your environment stance in food and energy. It's worth it just to visit and learn what the name of the restaurant means! Then stay and have drinks, apps, and dinner. You will LOVE it! This is my new fun place to go downtown. Also, great area to poke around other shops. Thanks for a great night ~ look forward to our next visit!
