Boooooo .. the “come with good vibes” post clearly works there. Just read how their owner responds if you’d like to learn who you’re giving your business to. They beef up their own reviews.

It is how they justify being mean to people who take longer than 30 seconds to find their card.

Not for your local Karen. Great people here with a down to earth local vibe. Love this joint.

I hope Priya is proud of herself. I bet you’re real fun at parties!

Unpretentious and a little gritty. Just the way we like it. Long live Billy Jack!

Everyone is always friendly and drinks are fairly priced. I am a human that does not expect special treatment because I walked into a place. If that sounds like you too, you’d enjoy it here!!

I spend WAY too much time here. Don’t come here, it sucks. 😉

It’s a dive bar that has cigs and a popcorn machine. If the garage has zero fans then I’m dead. The Billy Jack was beautiful, sorry you can’t read.

Some people suffer from a severe intolerance, not to gluten, but to not getting their way. They walk into a bar that’s been doing its thing for decades and see a clearly posted sign that says, “No substitutions! No modifications!”… and still decide they are the exception.

If you're coming to a legendary Denver spot like this, take a deep breath, read the room, and understand that the world doesn’t bend just because you asked nicely. If the first impression didn’t go your way, maybe try a mirror before the keyboard.

This isn’t a build-your-own fantasy café. It’s a get-what-you-get, sit-down-and-enjoy-it kind of place. The staff keeps it honest, the regulars like it that way, and the vibe is sacred precisely because it doesn’t try to please everyone.

So here’s a thought: before turning a no-frills neighborhood bar into your tasting room, take a moment to realize that not every space is here to cater to you. If that’s a tricky concept, no worries. There’s always a cocktail lounge down the block, happy to charge double to reassure you that you’re special, cater to your mood boards, and validate your every whim.
