Heaven is found in dive bars, and this is the pinnacle. I arrived around 7, so I found a spot at the bar before the crowd started to fill in and the band began. And it filled quickly after I arrived. Watching the magic of the bar filling up was pure joy. Don’t have particular tastes in alcohol because the options are gloriously limited. This bar is old, it’s run down, and it’s perfect. The bartenders are also so friendly. I’m glad I found this small slice of heaven while visiting Denver.

This place is not a bar on Thursdays. It’s a homeless shelter.

Stumbled upon this bar accidentally while walking downtown. We heard some music across the street and had to check it out. What a pleasant surprise to find a true dive bar with live music, cheap beer and interesting people in the midst of so many fancy pubs and breweries. I hope it can resist the growing gentrification in Denver.
One of the most wretched dives I've ever been to. Never has rum! Can't make a rum and coke. The bands who play there: skipable.

Well this is probably the best Dive Bar in Denver, with people from all walks of life coming in and sinking a piss for quite cheap. Open Wed to Sunday at 9am (used to be 7am)dig in to a pbr and shot of Jim beam for under 10 bucks. Ed will definitely be around to help u out. Also for the out of towners Canadian owned and operated. The pool table is alittle dicey but it is what it is. The establishment has been in operation since like 1941 .
