Love this bar! Super LGBTQ+ friendly, discounts for healthcare workers, and fantastic drinks! Tried the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The owner and server are really good people! Lovely little ambiance and board games if youre into that. Great music! Nothing but good things to say!!

We loved the vibe of Bar Max: their innovative cocktails (the mellow monk!), cool decor with a decidedly progressive slant and delicious food (the fancy grilled cheese) were all perfect. 10/10 recommend.

By far my favorite bar in Denver. I have never had a bad drink here, the appetizers are great and the service is truly excellent. Everyone here is always so kind and genuine, I really keep coming back for this. One of the bartenders chased after us when I left my tote bag for like a block and a half (which was not necessary but so, so appreciated.) Truly perfect. I appreciate yall so much!

An absolute gem! The sophisticated and knowledgeable staff could not have been more delightful and welcoming. Outstanding cocktails and fresh, creative heavy appetizers. A great concept for this area of East Colfax. Bravo, ladies! You're knocking it out of the park!

I Just visited Bar Max for the first time this past weekend. I love everything about this place! Drinks were amazing, popcorn to snack on was addictive, the service was friendly and efficient and the games at the table are a great touch to keep people engaged. Also, a great amaro list! This is now one of my favorite bars in Denver.
