By far one of the coolest bars in Denver. It is a bit off the beaten path, so I actually stumbled upon it just walking through the Cap Hill neighborhood. The theme, decor and overall vibe is hell-a neat. They also serve the most delicious seltzer. Even if you don't like seltzers, try their seltzer. The bar is both indoor and outdoor. There is something for everyone here. Unless you are super easily offended about artistic liberties on religious memorabilia.

The chicken and sweet potato fries were really good with the habanero sauce. Old fashion cocktail was tasty and the bartender James was super friendly and helpful to a new resident

My fiancé and I recently moved to the cap hill area and have been here the last few nights. It is the type of bar where the bartenders/locals hang out. The one particular bartender (short guy with a hat) I think is named kasey/casey has been so welcoming to us. It is one of the main reasons we will tell all of our friends about the place and will continue to come back. Kudos to him and the rest of the staff for knowing how to make a locals spot welcoming.

cool atmosphere but each time i’ve been the male bartender is very noticeably drunk, consistently gets distracted by flirting with girls and forgets to make others’ drinks. burgers are also typically overcooked.
Chill spot to have a good time

I can't imagine the neighbor without Bar Nun. I love stopping in and seeing Morgan and Joe. The best of the best service in the city. ♡ Bar Nun makes the neighborhood feel like home.
A one-of-a-kind themed bar! The drinks and food were amazing too, so this place isn’t popular just because of its atmosphere. The red chili cheese fries were some of the best I’ve ever had!

It was a great time, came on thanksgiving they had a whole free thanksgiving buffet, and a free tequila shot for the holiday, that was great but do not order a martini espresso here it’s insanely sweet and comes like this
Also crowd is mostly older men

Great place to grab a few drinks with some pals. Sometimes the bartenders forget about you or assume you'll interrupt them to ask for a drink, so you might feel ignored - but overall a great bar.

Bar Nun has quickly become my local spot. Hole in the wall atmosphere, solid food for a bar. Especially the pizza. Adriana is the best behind the bar when i get an after work beer, but the whole staff is really welcoming and fun. Would recommend anyone come check it out!
While the food is amazing the customer service I received tonight was unacceptable…I was disregarded when I asked was it open seating and then I sat for 15 minutes and no one came to the table… smh we have to do better. Mind u I spent $26 on an uber and had to go somewhere else to get food!
Best espresso martini I’ve had in Denver! I also love the waffle fries and the pickle shots. I appreciate that the staff really looks out for their patrons. It’s a place I’ve felt very safe going alone over the past few years.

The food was surprisingly good - service has been hit or miss on the friendliness front, but nothing to really knock it for

Came in really late after a concert at Fillmore auditorium and got fantastic service and great food and drinks. Highly recommend, not super friendly to the religious though. (I loved the atmosphere)
