There is a reason why this restaurant is Michelin Recommended. The service was prompt and impeccable, the food was as high a quality as you'd hope and expect (seriously, compliments to the chef) and the atmosphere was perfect. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't experience this place at least once.
Our family of four did the tasting menu along with wine pairing and everything was delicious as usual. Barolo Grill never disappoints!
We had the 4 course selection. Everyone excellent with a different taste experience that were have never had. Melissa was our server. Top flight. Michelin guide so reservations can be tough. We there on a Thursday night and the place was very energetic. Recommend strongly.
Go here for an authentic taste of Northern Italy cuisine, knowledgeable and highly skilled staff, and wine that will transport you right to the quiet, clear vineyards of Italy herself.
Overrated. Food was bland. Had to wait 30 minutes beyond our reservation time. Restaurant was incredibly noisy. Not worth the hype or the money.
Always outstanding, food and service are exceptional. Knowledgeable staff and great teamwork throughout service.
Awesome, elevated, pricey dining experience that is worth every penny!! This is as close to dining in Italy as you can get in Colorado!! Spectacular food and very attentive and knowledgeable staff...I highly recommend it!
Food, tasty, but very salty, in case that's not you're thing). We went there expecting it to be expensive but left there thinking "once was enough". We felt it was a little "sales-pitchy"...eg.: the servers pitched their $95 add-on to sprinkle "rare truffle" over your meal ($35, if you choose the one they simply referred to as "the more affordable one"). We like delicasies as much as the next person, but thought it was still a bit pretentious. I like truffles but not THAT much. We got there with a reservation and still waited 45 minutes for our table. Overall, very tasty, quality, well-cooked food; romantic-but-very-noisey ambiance (if that's your thing, you'll love this environment). Servers were very pleasant overall.
Wow! It's always special to go to Barolo. One of the best restaurants in Denver and great value for the money.
I took my wife to celebrate her birthday and everyone was so attentive and gave us a great table by the fire. Hands down the best service I've had in a long time. Everyone made her day extra special, from the moment we walked in the door until we left. Thank you!!

We have a wonderful dining experience at Barolo Grill for our anniversary. Our server was Michelle and she was amazing. She made excellent recommendations and guided us through an enchanting evening pairing our meal with the absolute perfect wine! She was extremely professional but we felt like we were having dinner with a friend and made it a very special evening. All-in-All, it was a perfect evening!
Unfortunately, our four-course dinners were underwhelming. The food was mediocre with sauces that were either overly strong or didn't complement the dish. It seemed like the kitchen compromised solid Italian flavors in their pursuit to be inventive. It was a very pricey meal for subpar food.
It feels like the chef is trying too hard to be creative and exotic for dinner. I could have done with out risotto, espresso, toasted buckwheat and beer caramel in one dish. It just didn't meld.
We’re Southern California residents who recently acquired a second home near Denver. Local friends and ChatGPT highly recommended Barolo Grill. We were very much looking forward to our 7PM reservation and were quite impressed when we arrived. Gracious host, lovely room, fresh white linen, attentive server, interesting menu. What could go wrong? First, the Mezcal/Aperol cocktail (“Great choice!” server said.) Served in a half-filled martini glass, it tasted like a Shirley Temple. Sent it back. We questioned the server whether the “Rocky Ford cantaloupe” for the prosciutto and melon appetizer ($24) might be out of season. (“I tasted it today. It will melt-in-your-mouth.” was the reply). Three thinly sliced (you got it) unripe cantaloupe morsels arrived on what appeared to be a butter plate. Barely visible were a few, nearly transparent shavings of “30-month aged” prosciutto (total weight maybe 0.012 grams). I could have consumed that entire appetizer in one bite. It should have been offered as an amuse bouche. To be fair, I did enjoy the few pea-sized balls of sorrel-dipped honeydew. Next came our pasta dishes. Very tasty. Perfectly al dente. I was ready to forgive all, but when served, there were no more than five quite small ravioli agnolotti swimming in brown butter at the bottom of my pretty little pasta bowl ($36). Thankfully, my wife wasn’t very hungry and offered me half of her spaghetti order, which I devoured. Undeterred, we went ahead ordered the dolci: a scoop each of peach and stracciatella gelatti. Smacked down again. There wasn’t a hint of peach in one and the other was dry and chalky. Our server agreed “There is definitely something wrong”. The desert was removed from the table and from our bill ($200 with tip). When we got home, I re-heated a slice of day-old pizza and boy, was that satisfying.
Sat at the Bar and had a wonderful meal. Bartender was extremely helpful with drink options and gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner.
