Southern heart and flavor, the alligator fried tails and crawfish pie were my favorite things!
Been wanting to come here for a while and finnaly got to. I had the catfish poboy and it was awesome. Staff was very friendly. Not sure why he got the negative hits cause the food is authentic, maybe they just don't like cajun.. Well be back for sure.
Pretty good cajun spot. I had shrimp gumbo and blackened chicken with crawfish etouffee on top
Permanently closed
great food, real cajun. Wishing Bob the best returning to Lousiana.
they are closing their doors after this weekend! Truly a tragedy.... great food awesome owners.
Greatest place ever. Amazing food and a true NOLA experience.
Definitely worth the stop. Great food. Great atmosphere. Étouffée and crawfish cakes were great. Make sure you make their happy hour.
Food was really good and cheap, staff was really sweet. If you're looking for cajun in the city you've found it.
Food was great and our server Natalie was amazing! She was so sweet and very accommodating. However the whole meal we could hear the man working named Keith making snarky remarks towards and about our server. It was very off-putting for an establishment with great food and a cozy environment. Other than having to hear his attitude, everything was fantastic.

We love coming here when we're downtown for a bite. The staff are always friendly and the food is very good. The fried gator bites are especially delicious. We came on a weekday evening and were seated right away. Our server was attentive without being pushy and our food came out quickly without it seeming like it had been rushed or thrown together. We went during happy hour as well and loved the seasonal lager they were serving. Great food!
The food here is amazing and I love the service. The only reason I'm giving this four stars is because we went to Bayou Bob's for one reason: a plate of crawfish. It's the big plate that you see all over Yelp and for some reason it's not on the menu at all. We kind of assumed it was a seasonal thing and just missed it, but turns out it's just not on the menu.
great lunch and quick service! thanks
Wonderful.hidden gem in downtown Denver. Food was fabulous, servers were great and friendly, and prices were reasonable considering the location. Food tastes fresh, and the gumbo is the star of the show. Highly recommended ðŸ‘
Attending comic con and decided to have my son try something new. I’ve eaten here before but he hasn’t and I always crave Cajun food. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we were quickly seated and ordered an appetizer right away as we were starving having skipped lunch. Had the popcorn shrimp which was proclaimed yummy by my son and he ate half of it as quick as he could put them into his mouth. I ordered the crawfish sampler which were crawfish tails served five different ways - etoufee over rice, fried tails, crawfish pie, stuffed mushroom and a crawfish cake. My favorites were the etoufee over rice, fried tails and crawfish pie. I love crawfish and having so many preparations satisfied my craving. He had country fried chicken - half pound chicken breast battered and fried with mashed potatoes and gravy. It came with a side and he picked fries. He didn’t like the chicken but the mashed potatoes were delicious - creamy and the gravy added a great flavor to them. The fries with Cajun seasoning were tasty and he liked dipping them into the mashed potatoes and gravy. He also liked the fruit cobbler with seasonal fruit and it came with peaches. Warm and gooey and sweet. He ate it all even after the rest of the food he had consumed. We got beignets to go as I was too full. Those weren’t as good as in New Orleans because they weren’t puffy and light. More flat and seemed dense. But overall if you are craving Cajun I’d still recommend this restaurant. My son said he was glad we tried it as it was delicious.
