Absolutely childish to have a policy to close out tabs while you're still open, then refusing to return a card and receipt while I'm still in the bar while the bar is still open. Don't rebuttal with "I gave you a warning that we would do this." I was in the bathroom. I work in the service industry and this is the most asinine "policy" I've ever experienced. Don't leave tabs open here and don't expect the bar to help you for any reason whatsoever even when you're being reasonable with them

Nice little dive bar. My son and I stopped in after a day of riding roller coasters and grabbed a cold Breckenridge Avalanche amber. It hit the spot!

The changes made over the years have made a significant difference for the bar. As a local Northsider I’ve attended many times over the years. It’s became dependable and has plenty of resources for a good time. Pool tables. Golden Tee. Specials everyday. You can order food from EAT HERE, a local ghost kitchen right to your seat. Karaoke twice a week. Staff who gets it and doesn’t play games. Locals from 20 something’s to the mommas and poppas who have been roaming these streets for decades. Great job.

Great except for the exceptionally rude dark haired female bartender.
Paid for a round of 6 drinks, bartender forgot one and made me close out because they were switching shifts. So went back and put the last one on a new tab which I was told wouldn’t be an issue. After the new bartender was done flirting with another customer, she came over to tell me I hadn’t hit the $10 minimum after paying $60 for the first round. Tried to explain and she was extremely rude and eventually I just ordered another drink to meet the minimum. She slammed the check and pen down and was extremely unprofessional. Paid and didn’t leave a second tip which she yelled at me about as I left.

Can’t reply to the bar’s comment below so I’m adding my reply here. The clapping audio that your karaoke dj plays is so crazy loud and idk if it’s just a funny joke at this point but it’s so abrasively loud and startling. I see people jump and cover their ears when it’s played. Last time I was there my friends wouldn’t come to the front area of the bar because the sound was so bad. The madness has to end. Other than that, the karaoke is fun and the bar is good vibes ??will be back and hopefully the clapping audio is a distant memory

Worst place on Tennyson by far! 20+ year neighbor with plenty of experience here. Bartenders have customers they like, and customers they don’t like. The bar is not what it used to be… Tourists stay away, you won’t be served.
Dive bar vibes without the actual dirtiness of one. Try the pickle shots they’re only $5 and delicious.

I hosted my 30th birthday party at Berkeley Inn and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. Mary was extremely accommodating and was able to reserve tables and a pool table, provide plates and utensils for food, and they even let me bring a band to play live music! The event could not have gone better and I'm grateful to the staff and bar for an incredible experience.
