On our way home from Denver back to Springs we stopped for a bite to eat and by chance I found this little spot. It was AMAZING. Everything we had was perfection. 🤌🏼
From the margaritas, entrees and even the dessert. Haven’t left a restaurant this satisfied in a LONG time. Definitley recommend if you’re in the area. 👌🏼

Bertha's is cool neighborhood restaurant. I don't know much about it as it was my first time there. The food and service was great! I had the Creamy Cajun Pasta. Wish I would have taken a pic of it. I highly recommend it and will definitely go back.

We sat on the patio, so I didn't get a good feel for the atmosphere. The food was good and hot and my meal came with rice and beans on the side which I like. Parking was easy.

Everything was just ok, not great. When we showed up the patio was full but inside less then 50% of tables had people (likely because of the lack of AC). Still took 10+minutes to get seated. This really isn't a Mexican food restaurant despite what the name might imply. Their margarita menu is one margarita with a bunch of add ons or upgrades, which are all listed without prices and you'll get attitude if you ask for the prices. Had the shrimp tacos, they were mid. My friend ordered the carnitas special, meat was moist but surprisingly lacking on flavor. I would highly recommend other Mexican restaurants in the area over this spot. 7 Leguas on Colfax is 100 times better food and better quality and value margarita options with staff that's always friendly.

The highlight is the food, which is pretty important for a restaurant to get right. We ordered the Reuben with onion rings and a burger that included an egg (also with rings). Both were quite good. The sauerkraut was delicious, as was the dressing. The rye bread was toasted and adequate to the job. Lots of restaurants fail with the Reubens because they use crappy meat. This stuff was okay. Not the worst I've had. Rings are homemade. A little bread (thick) but a good flavor. Comes with a BBQ type dipping sauce, which was tangy and enhanced the flavor. Reports on the burger were 'very good', and from what I saw, that is not an exaggeration. It's in a run-down strip mall, and the interior doesn't inspire confidence necessarily when you walk in, but the waitress has personality and did a great job. I could make this a regular lunch spot. Give it a shot. I've heard they have delicious Prime Rib on Wednesday...

Do not order the French Onion Soup - it’s like brown water with no flavor. No bread. No cheese.
Opt for the new patty melt and substitute the black bean patty for the burger. 🍔
Fries are fine. But it’s just fries.

I really didn't get the chance to see what the atmosphere was, because I only came to picc up my food. The food was easy, though. Easy on the eyes and the people appeared friendly. Loved the biscuits & gravy, though. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The heavy smell of cigarette smoke greeted us as we got out of the car right in front of the door. It's a bar with good food, not a fine dining establishment, so I guess that's okay. And there's probably nowhere else to have a smoking area, so it is what it is. Hold your breath and go on in.

The staff are lovely and outstanding at extending hospitality. Clearly, it's a neighborhood favorite: lots of families with young kids, young adults, and older folks were all there.

The burgers we had were perfectly cooked to order, and the sides were yummy. The beverage selection was solid, too.

All around excellent spot for great food and a great happy hour! The house margaritas are fantastic and the fried pickles and nachos are the best I’ve have in town.

This establishment is my preferred dining location. My family and I consistently visit this establishment to enjoy their pozole blanco and quesadillas. The staff consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service, and I highly recommend this family-owned business.

This please does everything well. Wings are really really good. Blue cheese dressing is that funky chunky goodness. They can also fry like a southerner. Pickles. Fingers. Fries. Rings. All good. Try the enchiladas too.
