This place is a rare find, serving very fresh and creatively prepared Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere. We are from the east where excellent Italian restaurants are not hard to find. Bettola’s rivals the best. Schaffer and Josh were fantastic. 5 star.

Oh my Cod! Yes, cod because the black cod is amazing when they have it! Soooo glad to have stumbled on Bettola and can't recommend it enough! All the food is fresh and made to order. Have been a few times now and they never disappoint. Schafer (Tres) is the best! Such a great server and wonderful to talk to. Good selection of wine and great cocktails. Don't leave without trying the homemade lemon limoncello (lemon and/ or lime). They have easily become my favorite restaurant in the Denver area.

The restaurant exceeded expectations. Everything was excellent. The dessert did take a while, but it turned out they had just ran out of fresh whipped cream. I saw them in the back making a fresh batch. Seems like the owner is still getting down that last little bit of restaurant management, but he is very close. The food was perfect.

Holy freaking moly! I can’t believe such a hidden gem is walking distance from our house! Our meal and experience tonight was one of the best my husband and I have ever had! It’s incredible the detail, dedication and legit love they put into everything they do here, it is such an experience! We had the Burrata, Arancini, Black Cod, Lobster Lasagna, 8-Layer Honey Cake, and a Limecello to finish off the night. All of it was absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to go back again and again, and again! Thank you!

Had a wonderful pre-50th bday dinner here with dear friends tonight. 3rd trip to this hidden gem in a ratty looking strip mall in Aurora. You're going to be hard pressed to find another scratch-made kitchen with a rotating menu and a sommelier waiting on you anywhere in or near this neighborhood. Relaxed and cozy vibe, tremendous service and wonderful and varied Italian cuisine. The Burata appetizer, Cioppino entree and 8 layer honey cake are all top notch. The wine and cocktail selections are legit as well. So glad this spot survived the pandemic and continues to thrive. Keep it up, Bettola!!!

Sharing this a bit late, but my husband and I finally tried this spot upon the recommendation of our neighbors. My parents watched our baby so we could have a proper dinner out; let me tell ya, this was a proper dinner! My husband ordered the fish on speical (I think a branzino?) and I had a short rib dish, as well as a ham and bean soup that made me sad all beans don't taste so good. The real star was the foccacia--we were told it was a different bread than the chef normally makes. If that's the case, I think it needs to be the new standard! I've been trying to replicate it at home with no luck. Next time I'd like to pace myself a bit so I can try the honey cake. They also have some special drinks? I don't drink but I remember there being a family recipe from like, the 1400s so if you do partake, it sounded interesting. Johnson and Schafer both served us and they were attentive, helpful with the menu, and just pleasant to be around. I have been telling all my friends to check this place out, and you should, too! Tip - we didn't have a reservation but got lucky by dining a bit early. Would make a reservation next time.

I was invited here by a friend who wanted to treat my son and I to a nice dinner. It was truly an experience. Such a gem, something you wouldn’t expect, especially where it’s located. It feels like you walk trough the door and are transported somewhere else in time. Staff were very attentive all throughout dinner and weren’t pushy. The atmosphere is laid back and cozy. Authentic Italian food and feeling. Could get a little pricey but for the experience, I highly recommend!

Go in here & get it all. To my understanding the chef is Vietnamese, classicly french trained and making the best italian food ive ever had. Umami, savory and refreshing. Small menu with limited specials you dont want to miss. Dont forget the homemade lemoncello. Leaving this review so we hopefully dont lose this gem!
