The food is excellent! The manager and staff are 'very' casually dressed, and not so professional. There's no white table clothes to make you feel like you're dining at a true Italian restaurant!

Stumbled upon this place and SO glad we did! I had the arrabiata rigatoni and my husband had the lamb - both were incredible. The balsamic aged whiskey was also amazing, never had anything quite like it. Overall, some of the best Italian I’ve had. We will definitely be back !

Amazing amazing amazing! The food was phenomenal! We have tried so many Italian places this one was so good! From the appetizers to entrees and the banana cream pie was out of this world! One of the best costumer services and kid friendly. Highly recommend.

Please read. Okay, so this happened almost exactly a year ago. I showed up here for a date, because it’s in my opinion, the best restaurant in Aurora. My date made the reservation in his name. I arrive and see he is not there, but they seat me and I order a glass of wine and waters for the table. 5 minutes go by. Then 15, then 30. My date is not responding to texts or calls. The staff check in the entire time, and I kept saying he’ll be here. Pretty soon, 45 minutes have gone by. He is not answering but was shown to be active on instagram. I was stood up. The staff probably realized it before I did, and I was really embarrassed. I asked to pay for my wine so I could be on my way. To my complete surprise, they brought out the crispy brussels sprouts, a glass of champagne, and dessert. Completely complimentary and even took care of my couple glasses of wine. It was, really sweet and one of the nicest things anyone had done for me. It just goes to show the character of the staff and owner, to be so caring to guests. Whenever I am in the area now, I stop here. Truly one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at. If you’re considering coming, please do. They are so deserving of everyone’s business.

Fabulous dinner, I enjoyed everything about the place and the food. We ate the goat cheese crostini, chicken Parmesan and the seafood diabolo. Everything was good quality, we’ll definitely be back. Because we didn’t have enough of it, even though we were so full from all the good food. Definitely check this place out.

The absolute best!!! We have been coming here since it was Cody's and it has been amazing every. Single. Time. The location in a shopping center is so deceiving. Inside lies a true gem of a place. A place that treats you like family.Sue is magic in the kitchen. Her menu is spectacular and her specials are truly special. The entire staff (Schafer, Josh, Isabel and Sue) are incredible and each bring their own unique skill set... gluten free focaccia bread and honey cake among their specialties!The Brussel sprouts are ridiculouslyamazing. A 20/10. The misto salad is incredible.The ossobuco is divine!I know I seem like I'm gushing, but it's true. They also hold events in their Cody's space (formerly New Orient). We've done so many Grip events there.. for business gatherings and for fun!This will become your favorite restaurant. Wish I stopped to take pictures of the food... but I eat our too quickly every single time.Dietary restrictions: Great with gluten and dairy restrictions.

According to the restaurant, Bettola literally means Hole in the Wall - google says it means Tavern. In either case it seems appropriate.Not a typical fancy restaurant- this place seems to emphasize what’s important: FOOD - great quality food and great service. Also great wine knowledge and pairing.The chef oddly is a small Vietnamese lady. If you’re there late she’ll probably come out to ask how the food was. She learned her skills in (France I think, Europe anyways)

Confused because the restaurant was always accommodating except we felt turned away. When we first spoke to server he said they could get us a table then all of the sudden said they couldnt accommodate us anymore (when our black mix friends showed up). Lost great customers due to that. Thank goodness we have other amazing Italian eateries!

Stopped by without a reservation for an early dinner on a Saturday. It's a small restaurant so we were lucky to be seated. My wife and I ordered the specials. She had the lamb ragout over pasta, and I had the black cod over a pumpkin risotto. I also had the sommelier select the wines that would pair best with the specials, and he did. We started with the warmed olives, that were quite tasty. My wife enjoyed the ragout and found it tasty. My entree, the black cod and risotto, was perfectly cooked and delicious. The risotto was to my liking as it was too al dente. The wines were delicious albeit a bit pricey.
